With your motor you could run 2 bar of boost without worries.Although over engineer'd is the british way.

My mate got a Chinese k04 for his 1.8t and runs 1.5 bar of boost and hi fitted it just over a year ago still no probs. Although ebay route is not for me the development that garrett put into there turbo's is unreal.

why dont you just buy them ready for the turbo and dont fit them. a ran 7 psi 297bhp with stock pump.no point running round overfueling like mad when you can just wait and fit same time as turbo.

Good man :-) I would be fitting a pressure sensor in the coolant system if it were me, but then I like my gadgets :-) We all no you love your gadets kev. stock motors are ten a penny who cares lol.

You dont hafto buy them just because they make them.Also who is spending loads of money on gaskets and being off the road coz im not.

orite sound ide get them to whip the head of before you buy it.better be safe, if you get hold of a 02m clutch and flywheel you dont need let me know cheers.

yep i wouldent waste money on arp's unless your building a full bottom end with forged rods and pistons. and seeking over 600 bhp

Unless you smashing up 02a boxes i would say no as its and expensive conversion gearbox,2wd converter,gearbox mounts,driveshafts,240mm flywheel and clutch.02m starter motor.golf mk4 gear selector cables .

I payed £20 for standard bolts whats the risk i can go through 10 sets for the price of arp's

you do not need them anyway i run 570bhp with standard bolts no probs.

i used to have the 6.5j ones and i ran 2*15mm on the front and 2* 20mm on the rear -

They use 84mm pistons standard dont they. so if they have overbored when theyve gone forged its starting to get close.

standard luk clutches are £80-£95 depending where you get it from. + what ever labour the garage choose charge.
