    Thanks everyone for all the info!! Can anyone tell me the part number for their belt or belts? Mine has turned into nothing but dust which has attached itself to the filter now! It is a toothed belt that I need. Here is a pic of the charger but beltless for now http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae284/Gazbarber1982/DSC00330.jpg I've spoke to Vince @ Stealth, Regal Motorsports, Awesome GTi, Storm, to name a few but no such look as yet.

    Don't suppose anyone knows where I can get the short toothed belt for my supercharger?? It's approx 500mm and 21mm wide. Only just fitted the kit and I'm not sure on the exact model of it but the belt only lasted me a day so think could have been just a little too tight :S

    Had the tracking done the day after. Was told that one of the bushes on the anti roll bar was a bit worn but I can't see that causing the noise. I'm guessing it's the bearings. I did the back one's the day I got the tracking done coz the O/S/R one shattered and I had to fish the rollers out of the inside of the disc!

    Since lowering my car at the weekend, I've noticed a clunk or grinding noise coming from the O/S/F wheel. It tends to go when I steer left but makes the noise when I drive straight or turn right. Also makes quite a bit of noise when i'm breaking, again on the O/S/F. Any idea's?

    I knew somone else would be sad enough to be sat at the computer at this time of night on a saturday and thanks!!! Me and a mate (j933 vrd) have stripped most of the bits off mine like the t/b, inlet mani, alt, etc. So you reakon I won't need anythin else off an OBD2? I was trying to keep the work to a minimum hence bolting all my OBD1 stuff to the OBD2. Also, how hard is it to do the engine swap and will I need any 'specialist' tools? I did have a mechanic that knows VR's lined up to do the work Sunday morning but he's gone camping so now it looks like me n friends are gonna try to butch

    Hi all. A couple of days ago my car just stopped running when thrashing it a bit. After removing the rocker cover and trying to start it the cams aren't turning but the top chains are still intact. Anyway, I've bought a bare OBD2 engine and i'm just wondering will it be OK to just take my engine out and bolt on any bit's off my old engine that I need or will I need any other bit's off an OBD2? The bloke I bought it off seems to know what he's doing, he's dropped an R32 engine in his 1990 Corrado but I can't help thinking he might of said it will be fine just so he makes a few quid selling

    Right, sorted the water leaking. It turned out to be the cap, it wasn't sealing properly and when the pressure built up it forced the water up and over the expansion tank. There is a hole in the 'bigger circle' to allow excees water to escape. Anyone have any idea what the problem is with my VR running on 5? I've tried a coil pack off my mates 96 VR, new leads and new plugs but still no luck!!

    My 94 VR has started running on 5 cylinders but it only seems to be at low rev's and seems to run ok after 3500 rpm. I've had the plugs out and they all seem to be sparking but when i put the socket in to take out the plug on Cylinder 6 there was oil around the plug about 10mm deep! Then yesterday afternoon my mate took the cap off the expansion tank not long after it had been for a run and it blew the lid off n threw a load of water out. Now there is no pressure build up in the system and the water level rises and comes out of a hole in the side of the expansion tank. Any help would be mu

    I've got a 93 VR OBD2 (i think, it's coil not dizzy) and when i drive it from cold the multi func. comp. read's out anything from 4mpg -10mpg for the first 10 min's! I've got a mate with a 92 VR and his doesn't have this problem. Any idea's? I've read somewhere else that it could be a fauly lambda sensor but reading other threads on here look's like some people know what they are on about!! Thanks.
