  1. Eat This is talking about the actual Circuit tracks its very common when soldering if the Iron is too hot and the tracks are thin they break. Check all the Tracks and make sure none of the pins on the socket holder are joined. Stuart
  2. HI All, Does anyone have a good wiring diagram for ecu pins? I'm in the process of changing my ECU to an Emerald K3 and as such I need to know all the wires / pins of the current connector, this has to be changed for the emerald one!! I know there are a couple of people on here with aftermarket ECU's so any help would be great. Thanks Stuart
  3. Hi, Just incase its the fuse or relay, fuse is number 17 and the blinker is relay 6 this is on second row of relay's above the fuses on the far right. Should have 21 printed on it.

  6. Hi All, I'm hoping you can help me, I have a 1995 golf vr6 obd1. When the car is cold it will start fine however once warm it cuts out and will not start again until it has cooled!. I've run Vag-Com on the car and the only fault it had was Camshaft Position Sensor, I've changed this and thought th problem was cured however a day or so later it re-accured, I'd assume the car didn't get properly warm at first. I've read several post on here and made the decision to change the Crank position sensor aswell and still no joy and over £135 down. Vagcom shows no faults however sometimes the

  8. Hi, I cleaned mine a while ago seemeed to work fine. I just figured as this was the second time it had this fault to get a new one, hopefully it won't happen again!
  9. Hi The cam Position (Hall) Sensor is on the Right hand side of the engine as your looking at it, above the Coil Pack. Its a small Triangular Sensor. Part No 021 907 601 A I just got one for mine £42.00 from Volks. Thanks Stuart
  10. Hi Coonper and welcome! If the engine isn't running when you run diagnostics you'll get the "engine speed sensor no signal error" and as for the "idle air cotrol regulator" if thats the idle control valve I think it is they are listed on eurocarparts for 174.71 Stuart
