    A few bits turned up today from Germany 4X NEW rear tie arms, full set of sub frame bolts and also a full set of rear trailing arm bushes picked them up on good old German gay bay for a STUNNING sum of....................................................................... 25 EURO [lol-lol] priced all the bits up and there is roughly £450 if bought from a dealer [] Ideal for building some adjustable arms me thinks

    ANYONE out there that has managed to have this done here in the uk? have a VF9 from an R32 that i turned to dust at inters this year so needs rebuilding and machining i have a NEW billet turbine from supercharger rebuilds in the states along with a seal and bearing kit but need to have the scroll machines out to fit the new blade and then rebuild the poor thing ANYONE have any ideas please tried UK blowers, turbo tech and the likes but no joy really and having the laid up for the past 4 weeks is doing my nut in so just want it sorted out now so i can put it back together lol THANKS in advance

    Turbo project will be under full stem in the next 2 months or so, i am just looking for a runabout so i can take her off the road. The plan of 350-400 BHP is now out the window and the new target will be 500 ish with full engine rebuild and low comp pstons, GT35 or bigger turbo and custom FMIC along with LSD and some gear work from HGP.     yeaaaaa the bonnet is not finished yet and was a lat minuet thing lol I intend to put the same size red stripe down the divide of the black and gray then clear coat the complete bonnet so i can polish it lol Also today i have fitted a new interior black carpet and new air bag ECU so no more lights Andy

    Well here is an update as to how the car looks now after a few more days grafting So here we go this is how she looks atthe moment but now minus the wheels so they too can get finished lol There is NOTHING like the smell of fresh paint [H] that last pic of the wheels until tomorrow night I HOPE [:@] Also fitted my NEW windscreen and OEM parts at that [] The doors rear doors are also now hung and the front doors, front and rear rear bumper and bonnet went into the booth tonight and got some color Left now is the boot and door handles and also some other bits and pieces.     Oh here goes lol The TT wishbones are CAST alu where as the old ones are just pressed steal with crap bushes. It also allows you some camber adjustment as the bottom ball joint holes are slotted. As for it being mint hummmmm bot sure on that one lol It had loads of small scratches and fine light scratches that would never seem to polish out so i thought bugger it we will paint them out. Andy

    If you had noticed it is NOT a 4MOTION it started life as a standard 1.6 16V back in 2001 when we bought it lol the exhaust is a 2.5" custom made stainless cat back system to be able to cope with what the 6 puts out it had to be quite big as i dont have the space for the massive box that the 4MOTION had as standard. the rear is also an anniversary valance and the tip fits perfect in that but does look a little odd with no bumper 8-| Andy

    Thanks lads It has taken some bloody work so far and cant wait to get it back on the road i am in France working at the moment so the bodyshop where i am working is doing the actual painting LOL all the strip and refit is down to me :S Cracking painter and would recommend him any day even if he is in France but the price reflects in my opinion and not that expensive at about 2500€ for a normal spray job that is not the kind of strip down i have done The rest of the parts get painted Tuesday so i can get her back together ready for the RR day in Manchester on Saturday More pics will fo

    If the lord of darkness wanted a lift, it WOULD be in this [] Well as very few will know i have bitten the bullet and decided to take the car to the next level. The following pics will show the lengths i am going to get this car perfect in just about EVERY way i can in terms of looks and where i want it to be.
