Hello all Looking at a set of second hand genuine VW 17 inch alloys off a mk4 Golf for my VR6 Sharan 1997. Just wondering if anyone knows if they will fit? Rim width 7J, tyre 225, aspect ratio 45, offset 37, load index 94. Andy

Hi Can anybody help me? I am new to my car (Sharah VR6 auto). Its runs sweet as a nut, but when you turn the key it makes the most horrible & loud screeching grinding noise. Seems like starter motor needs replacing to me, which local garage has confirmed, BUT, they say that the flywheel may also be knackered, (but they won't know until they get the starter motor off) and if so this will be a MAJOR job, much much more £££'s. Does this sound right? Is there a good chance flywheel will be goosed? Any help or advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks Andy

Hi Just bought my p reg 97 VR6 Sharan. Runs fantastic, BUT horrible noise (possibly from starter motor?) on start up. Any help/advice would be much appreciated. Thanks Andy
