    Hi, Cheers for the help guys. I've managed to solve it now. There was moisture over the central locking pump. I think this was shorting it. I've now swapped it for a new one and put it in a marigold glove to keep anymore water off it. I think I have a seal problem around the lights that I need to sort. Cheers for all your help

    Hi guys, I'm looking for a new exhaust because my old one has a hole in it. I'm looking for one that wil increase BHP but keep fuel economy fairly good as I do a lot of motorway driving. Any ideas? or are these contradicting points as I'm thinking. Cost isn't particularly important. How much difference to economy would i be lookng at with a performance xhaust like a mongoose/milltek/mongoose etc...I'd value your guys opinion. Cheers

    Hi guys, I've had my VR6 for only a month now. Last week I went out left my car locked and returned to find that the doors had all unlocked themselves and the front windows had wound themselves down. This then happened again the same day. This seems strange as the electric windows can surely only be wound down while the battery is switched on? I'm thinking a possible short? On a sort of related note, is it worth buying a Golf Haynes even though it doesn't include the vr6, even if just for the wiring diagrams? Cheers guys

    Hi all, My VR6 is apparently ex-rally car (can still see where it used to say Pirelli on the bonnet) and it goes like stink. I'm having a few juddering problems that seem like they are clutch related. I was wandering if anyone would be able to give me some help with that. I'm also looking to find some rubber and some brakes that would be suitable for about 25 laps of the nurburgring and the travel to and from. Any suggestions? I think I'm looking for 205/45/17. In April myself and a friend are planning a road trip to the nurburgring. Any advice for a first timer? Cheers guys

    I have bought a vr6 today and have driven it to work. While on the motorway I noticed that when I cruise with constant revs it judders violently and feels like the car is boucing. If I accelerate hard then the juddering goes away. the accelerator peddle also feels a little laggy... If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
