    it almost does if you get BBS RS and then colour code the centres and then get some FK coilies.

    very nice. i don't think the price is too steep. you can get it for £3.5k. the wheels cost around £1k. plus it's had some bodywork done, fk coilies etc. but check what the bodywork is like. if it's spotless then 3.5k is about right.

    Not true at all. You will find some many mileage cars are in better condition then lower mileage cars. As said time and time again, its all about how the cars are maintained. If you get one with FSH or from an enthusiast who has proof of maintaining it at all costs then it will be in good condition.

    I have a rule of thumb - NEVER go to get work done by VW because you can always get it done cheaper elsewhere. At the end of the day you get the same thing done. But then again, i wouldn't pay £200-300 for window regulators/motors. It just isnt worth it. I got my used window motor from ebay 2 years ago and its still going strong. It is partially luck though. If you want brand new ones, i would check prices from places like euro car parts, car spares etc. I only go to VW for engine/service parts.

    You would be crazy to pay that much. You could easily pay half that or even more if you look around.

    there definitely needs to be system in place to make sure that drivers are still safe to be on the road. I don't think it should be an age limit though as everybody ages differently.

    I think thats there for the protection of the exhaust system incase the exhaust system loosens and falls, so it's there to save the exhaust. Im not certain though. Anyway taken mine off last year. Alot of mk3 owners take it off as it hangs pretty low and catches everywhere.

    Iv been told the Halford xenon lights are very good and bright. No they won't fry your electrics. You can upgrade your loom but theres no point.really. Iv got a 55watt 6000k HID kit which works wonders. Im running it on the standard loom and have had no problems.

    I agree, 18's is a bad choice.. Iv had 17's and now im running 16's and 16's is just a much better ride and handling.

    for window regulators/motors go on ebay and look for golf breaking near your area. last time i checked for a window motor/regulator was £165 from vw. not having a stereo is hardly a problem lol.
