    Hi,ive only really noticed this problem since fitting my heated front seats,but cannot be 100% sure that is the problem.The problem is when i put car into neutral the revs drop like normal but then carry on as if to stall the car,but then pick up again then drop off and pick up again, does this 3/4 times and while doing this the lights dim.Thing is car runs perfect but when it dips below normal idle its like it wants to stall,but like i said it picks up again,any ideas???

    Lol,well i'm not going to worry,because it only does it now and again,i rang VW and they wanted it for the morning at a cost of £80 to test it it lol,theres no chance i paying that!! because really i dont think its that bad,plus i just changed my plugs and one was almost out!! hahaha all good now though

    Yeah ive notched this on mine,although i can hear it inside the car,it's like a a faint noise almost like a door opening,also when ive stopped car and opened bonnet,theres a clicking sound coming from the right side of the engine where al those cables go into,but car is running fine and its been like it now for 2 weeks.

    Ok done service today,all went well although the oil filer was a pain!! while under the car to the right of the engine passenger side theres another block with vw logo on the bottom,ive noticed a very small oil leak from here any help thx,is this the gearbox? i havnt a clue.Here is pic:

    Thx for that i was worried then lol,also is it best to change fuel filter aswell? what about plugs? they were changed 85,000 miles, car is now on 100,000 cheers

    Hi,im doing service on my Vr6 this week and have got parts today ie filter and oil filter,but oil filter is just paper filter with rubber washer,so does the vr6 have its own casing which you place the filter inside? seems an old idea,an help thx
