P.S. What I was trying to find out is if the ABS light would go out if the problem has been fixed, or does it need to be reset? Would you know?

Have you got oil presure?
-
OMG, thats mental!
-
Yeah, I know your right, its just that time of year where every £ is precious!
-
I know, but its meant to be a new bearing, and its just hassel as I need to get a garage to fit it, as I dont have a Press!
-
Sorry to ask such a beginner question, but i just got a new hub after the old's ones bearing fell apart and damaged the old one. Im not sure if this new one needs a new bearing as well? the part in the picture pushes by hand into the main hub carrier. Is that correct, or should it need to pushed in with a press? Also, there is a bit of damage on the face where someone has smacked it with a hammer? Cheers

LOCKING WHEEL NUT MADNESS
pat_986 replied to Pearsy47's topic in Wheels, Brakes, Suspension and Steering
Yeah, the socket should do it, try it with a windy gun if you have one to try and zap it off quick. Or, could you weld anything (large nut) onto it, to undo that? I doubt you could get a weld in there though? -

Some people say hammer and old socket onto the LWN, that will only work if its a solid nut though, not one of the ones that the outside spins on. Hope that helps/ makes sence! -
Thanks, wasn't saying you were. Just souned like you were saying it was just the engine. I new brakes were diff, but not sure about hubs/shafts. Seems i got the awnser now, cheers all!
