  1. Just lockwood white dials and some chrome rings from Ebay, Bit boring realy
  2. This was a long time ago to be fair, just never forgiven them Be interesting to know what boost your running when you get the gauge on
  3. Tesco's? Destroyed my cat when that had that problem with too much silicone in the fuel Well worth trying BP Ultimate or Esso Super
  4. Glad you have done it? 3K + is when everything comes together, The exhaust note from mine is great!!!! Got yourself a fuel reward card yet?
  5. Well pleased for you mate, Realy struggeld with mine before it got mapped, the noise is so addictive
  6. Good, was worried when you mentioned sceaming. Best of luck in the moring
  7. My idle pulley is about 3/4's of the way foward, if that makes sense dont mean to worry you but my charger has never screamed, the noise is a very slight whislt/boost noise Did you grind away part of the head? And is the charger turning the right way?
  8. Did you say you didnt cut the tensioner? as this will cause the tensioner to sit on the charger housing and not tension the belt correctly as it has no movement
  9. You should feel some pressure coming from the charger, if nothing then maybe there is no tension on the belt and chargers not turning If nothing then you are restricting the air to engine causing it to stall
  10. What a !!!!, When it was on idle could you feel pressure from that charger?
  11. Go on, Try it now, even im excited for you!!!!!
  12. When that return pipe wasnt connected on mine it wouldnt idle, i think it relys on that small return Id be out there now swaping it round, wouldnt be able to sleep as im such a big kid with things like that. Just remember your adding boost to an engine and engine ecu that wouldnt have it, then the main control of boost is working the wrong way round and not doing its job, First thing to try mate
  13. The picture is the right way round, IN the side and out the bottom back to the charger
  14. The side of the dump valve must be connected to the metal boost hose, then the bottom returned to the inlet, you can connect it the wrong way which means that the vacum at idle wont open the vavle and when you acclerate the boost will just force open the valve and recirculate the boost, seen this done a few times before, as the spring insnt strong enough to resist the pressure if you disconect the pipe into the throttle body will the car idle and can you feel slight pressure coming from the charger?
  15. As the charger is constantly creating boost you need to divert this when not needed, I know i keep saying it but is the dump valve definatly the right way round? as my car wont idle if the pipe from the dump valve to inlet hose is off/blocked
  16. I have an OBD 1 Car so the 2nd flexy pipe is conneced to the ISV, Have you tried blanking this pipe off and starting the car?
  17. Just to note, Dump valve open when on idle and closed when revs increased
  18. Is the return from the dump valve connected to the inlet side of the charger as this will cause it to not idle as is the dump valve connected thr right way round?
  19. You need to prime the charger fluid feed pipe all the way to the charger. i have a compressor so i did this as stated. where are you fitting the bottle? maybe fill the pipe then connect to bottle and blow into the bottle until fluid coming out at union at charger. you will lose some fluid doing this which is a major s*** as is quite expensive
  20. undearstand, once the metal boost pipe from charger to inlet is fitted its amazing how much can be hidden for a clean instalation
  21. i just T-pieced into the dump valve vacunm line for the boost gauge
  22. i fitted a t-piece and used the standard fuel pressure regulator vacumn hose to run the aftermarket fuel pressure regulator and dump valve. Just tidied the vacumn hose away
  23. Sorry didnt mean to confuse the situation You replace the standard Fuel pressure regulator with a tap that allows you to return the fuel through the adjustable fuel pressure regulator. then blank the return line at the inlet side of the fuel rail, Does that make sense?
  24. That is how mine is set up, do you have the tap to replace the fuel pressure regulator in the rail? The other end with the tap is where you fit the gauge for pressure adustment
  25. Very interested in this, What time does it start?
