  1. I do now I'll PM you what I have...
  2. Hello guys 'n' gals, does anyone have the OBD2 Wiring diagrams in PDF format they can send me? Desperate need of them to check something on the car at lunchtime today 8-|
  3. I have to agree, second ones !
  4. I'm interested to know this too. Also what about the Schimmel 263s?
  5. I've ordered one from Arcadia In Car, an online place. Not arrived yet though
  6. Quick update: Seems to have been behaving itself, until last night, and we think it only seems to have the problem when the car is warm and is left for about 30mins or so. Removed and reinserted the Fuel pump relay, not effect, did the same with the X-relief, but scratched the contacts inside with my finger nail, reinserted the relay and she started again....weird.
  7. Mmmmmmm shiney They look good mate, will look even better once it's lowered
  8. It has mate indeed, but we were in need of a car quick, following the last one getting written off by some d1ck in a 7.5 tonne lorry and we were on a very limited budget, so our primary target was to get a nice clean un-modified one, specifically OBD2, and that is what we got (we think lol) I do agree though mate, another £500 quid might have got us something already modified, but we didn't have the £500....
  9. Just ordered one of these, it should work with our VR, shouldn't it? Anyone else got one?
  10. Well, two days into VR ownership and it failed to start. Called the AA out, and seems like the fuel pump wasn't priming. He took out the fuel pump relay, and also the X-relief relay, and hey-presto it started. Did the same yesterday and I pulled both of those replays out again and re-inserted and it started. The fuel pump relay seems relatively new, could it be an intermittent fault with it? I can't see how it could be the x-relief relay and the starter turns the engine over fine. So, crank sensor maybe? Just seems odd to be intermittent like that. In the meantime, I've ordered a VAG-com lead
  11. Just ordered one of these, it should work with our VR, shouldn't it? Anyone else got one?
  12. Tbh' date=' it is our car, cause MrB's been driving it more than me :-( [/quote'] (6)
  13. So, how are all these people supposed to buy a new electric/hydrogen fuelled car then? We sure couldn't afford one! That's one of the reasons we just bought an 11 year old car! (The other being - mmmmmmmvr6 lol) Brown IS a complete c0ck! Totally out of touch with anything in real life. And my god, I've never seen a PM with so little personality. Even John Major had more.
  14. Cheers for the info dude. I totally see what you are saying, but Mrs B wanted to start with a blank canvas, as such, and we were limited with the budget at the moment, and also needed a car sharpish (hire car goes back next week). I did look at JK's Golf, but it was more money than we had. We hope to get a lot of the stuff we want second hand off here, I had a good poke about this forum, and as you say seems really friendly. Plenty of good info too
  15. Plans are simple really, So far, Mrs B wants it lowered (40-60mm), Cream leather, crystal smoked lights, new number plates (private jobbie she reckons) as they just look tired, and that's about it for now.
  16. Cheers guys. Here are the pics off the Autotrader Ad....
  17. The guy is sticking 12 month MOT on it this week, so will be picking it up on Friday, hopefully. Really pleased with it t be fair. Been to see a few this week, and this is by far the best and also the cheapest lol. The missus (her car really) already has plans for it....
  18. Just bought a car this evening, well, paid a deposit anyway. R-reg Mk3 VR6 (OBD2), 115k, mint condition, 12month MOT, 6 months tax, full service history, climatronic climate control, electric everything, BBS alloys, Pearl Blue/purple......1900 pounds sterling! Just thought I'd share that!.....Pics when we pick it up next weekend
