  1. The Black Mk1 Golf won Best Car, voted by CumbriaVAG. There were a few categories, but the red Mk1 Rabbit won best overall.

  3. Hi guys - it's something I do a lot of, and I go to a fair few shows. I always have my camera to hand, and love a good VW! I do photo shoots, and am able to do commissions should people wish! One shot from Stanford Hall on Sunday - Corrado VR6, through a Split Beetle.   5. After the success of last year, CumbriaVAG.co.uk, now with the assistance of Unphased, are doing it all again, and hosting another show! Set once again in the grounds of Heaves Hotel nr Kendal, CumbriaVAG 2011 will be a chilled-out 1 day show, with the emphasis on the fantastic cars available from the VW / Audi stable, with some other German & Retro metal thown in for good measure. There will a show and shine, with trophies and prizes given out in many categories, autojumble,traders and a live DJ providing some background music. Held at Heaves Hotel, near Kendal, it will be a 1 day, chilled-out event, with space for plenty of top-notch cars from the VW-Audi partnership, with a broad range of air and water-cooled dubs for you to pore over.   10. Hi all, after the non-event of last weekend, because of the flooding, we have decided to re-arrange this meet for Sunday 2nd November next to Lake Windermere, Cumbria. Its on Glebe road, just below Bowness. There's a pub across the street for all those wanting food and drink, although I'm unsure if it'll be open after last weeks problems. Starts approx 2pm. Bring people along, the more the merrier! Postcode is LA23 3HE. Hopefully start a regular thing.

  15. I've got a load of coolant in the pasenger side footwell (bizarrely behind the passenger seat) that's come from somewhere, it's not water, 'cos I've tasted it. Any ideas as to how it may have got there? Could this be where it's getting to somehow?
  16. Hi people, had my Corrado VR6 for a year and a half now (ABV), and recently had an oil leak from the oil pressure sensor on the oil filter housing, which I replaced and sorted the leak. Along with this I replaced the oil temp. sensor next to it. Since then, I have had a blank readout from the dash regarding oil temp (- ---). Which is worrying me, could it just be a break in the wire? Along with this, it's started drinking coolant like Ollie Reed at 4am, with no visible signs of leakage. No drips / leaks on the floor or in the engine bay, No white smoke, No lumpiness whilst running, No oil / wa
