hiya guys, a good (yet lazy) friend of mine has a VR with a busted alternator, she wants to know would any mk3 alertnator work or is it a vr6 specific? i'm assuming the latter but have been wrong (many times) before

in the lower half of the rev range it shows around 13:1 in the higher half around 12:1

Hi guys, i had my VR on the rollers a few weeks back, and have jus sat and looked thru the graphs properly, one has power and high speed air:fuel ratio so i was wondering, what the Air:fuel for the VR should be i did a quick search and nothing came up, so if you guys could enlighten me it'd be much appreciated! measurements of x air:1 fuel please

fair enough, i guess i'll be waiting for a remap, i'm at an RR place on saturday (half price day ftw) so i suppose i'll keep an eye out for cams..... where are the best places to pick them up that r cheaper than piper?

ahhh so the guy that selling me saying it jus plugs in is a plumb? hummmmmm and the ecu's arent mappable are they, this is no fun, ideally i just want it set up to get the most out the mods i have!

hmm, i found some discs that are both asthetically pleasing and friendly to my pocket, but they only do em in 280 and 288

but what size! can i fitt 280's? or do i need new carriers etc?

what size are the rear discs on the obd2 vr6? they appear to be smaller than the fronts, is that right?

alright chaps, i've had a look thru a few threads bout broken gearboxes and cant find any posting saying they have the problem i have. basically i was being a tit, and in my over entusiasm, i fucked up, i missed 2nd, badly, (and i'm very embarresed about this) but since then, the car wont go into first, it just grinds and pops back out, and only goes into 2nd at very low speeds. is it the adjustment jobby that i have read about or have a ramshanked my box? thanks in advance for your help

its the "approved mapper" from a local car club, i'm rockin and OBD2 P reg 1996 (IIRC) and mods stand currently at, BMC CDA, 6-2-1, decat n cat bk system, port n polish throttle body, and kerr nelson leads, she runs rich as funk and was hoping i could get her mapped to try and sort this,

if i put some wheels of center bore 57.1 on the VR (which is 54 iirc?) what will happen? do i need anythin to fit them? or are they just unfittable?

they worth havin? or are they a bag of crap? they're on the bay at about 15 quid, i'm sure a couple of ppl have been tempted? only reason i ask is i intend to do my own servicing etc and would want to be doing code checks and wiping service reminders as i do it.

Hiya guys! after driving my VR a mate has bought one for herself. today tho she has txt me asking if my VR beeps at me when i giveit some beans through a corner or round a roundabout, as it doesnt i have become curious, she says it beeos for circa 2 seconds and then stops, any ideas?
