    It is an OBD1 engine and engine harness, it is running of an obd2 computer, By the way the car is a 98 GTI VR6, will it be as easy of changing the engine harness with an obd2 as well as the TB??

    I am new to this forum but i really need help. First of all, i have owned and worked on many VW's for quite some time but this is my first VR. I took it to get inspected and it failed due to CODEs: P1544 Throttle Actuation Potentiometer Signal too High and p0121: Throttle pedal/position sensor A ciricut range performance. I did some research and it turned out to be the TPS and probaly need a new TB. I have checked the ECU and it is an OBD2 When i looked under the hood i noticed it had an OBD 1 TB on it. Could it be possible that who ever owned it before me replaced the engine harness with and
