Cool, cool think i may just get vw to match it to the car. Theres no one up my way that do tunning or that sort of thing, well no one i'd trust. Jim do you have a link on how to do it with the vagcom? May give it a try.

But would it be possible for vw to do? Phoned them but no mechanics in at the moment

Hi folks, i was wondering if it is possible to swap ecus (obd2) over from different cars and have vw reprogram them to suit the car with regaurds to the imobiliser. What my problem is i'm just about to fit a supercharger and wanted to fit the whole ecu that came with the kit rather than just swapping the chips as it would need soldering and i'm not sure who would do this in my area. Can anyone recomend a good short shift kit? The only one i'm seeing is the b&m one and they'r about 200 quid from venom :-|

Not sure as it was lowered when i bought the car. The tyres sit about level with the arches.

you'll be fine with 205s my arches havent been rolled and it doesn't scrub. I used to have 215s and the rear arches scrubbed a bit

i'm running 205/40/17 tyres without any problems the car is lowered too but not sure by how much. If your buying tyres i'd strongly recomend toyo t1r, in the wet they are very good as i can report, not tryed them in the dry yet but going by reviews they should be very good too

does any one know the dimentions of the spacer, length, width and distance between hole centers? Planning making them up at work (in angola) and dont have access to the carriers atm to measure. Thanks

Try asking this guy on ebay daytonagblimited, he doesn't have any listed atm but may have one? I bought mine on Friday night from him and my car was back up and running at 11:30 this morning. It cost me £85 brand new plus £16 special delivery to the scottish highlands thought that was really good. Worth a try?

I was looking on the net last night after posting this and i found an mot q&a sight and one of the questions was the same as mine and it sayed it dosen't matter as long as it is within the emissions. The car won't be going for mot any time soon as i'm away back to work on wednesday and i've just melted my coil pack :@

Hi folks got a prob with my throttle body. Tryed to align it using vag com but getting the same problem as the guy has on this thread [link]http://forums.fourtitude.com/zerothread?id=3660066 Is the problem just the potentiometer i need to change? i've just ordered one but not be in untill tuesday. Can it be cleaned in any way for the time being? Also when i go to the measuring block for throttle % it only goes to 67% on full throttle. Thanks Gordy

MOT time is comming up, just wondered if anyone has managed to get their car through the mot with a cat replacement pipe fitted? Some say it must have it fitted if the car is post '92 but i've been told it doesn't as long as it's within the emmisions for that year of car?

Do you know if vagcom would tell me?
