Well it was signalled on the software as being a cylinder mis-fire I think, it was very low on petrol at the time so that may have contributed, all seems okay. Not had any re-occurrance of the problem, just got to sort a cover now for the bottom of the engine.....

Jim thanks for your help Saturday morning much appreciated. One more question, there is a plastic ( I think ) engine cover beneath the engine, I must have hit a speed bump to quick as it is now hanging off. I have kind of poked it back into place any idea where I could get a reconditioned cover?

Plus the other circular line with arrow at end all lit up. Short 1 mile drive to garage, filled up. Switch on, no lights? Brake fluid issues? No guidance in handbook for the circular line with arrow sign though? Is it the traction control? So ABS Traction and Brake light? a glitch or serious do we think ( all those lights makes me think its serious! )

Thanks have now located where I should be looking. Will be investigating further today, assuming that it needs topping up can you advise the preferred brand I should use and how much do I need, is there a danger in overfilling for example? Many thanks for all your help.

no not a silly question I will do so....I will now ask a silly question..ahem.....where, roughly speaking should I look.....

Last month or so the power steering seems to have developed a whine when I go to turn, initially this was only when I first got car moving but is now more persistant. Any thoughts? I use the car every day, Colchester to Billericay and not had any real problems with the car so far.
