    VRT Sound

Sounds like you've no screamer pipe mate, or not enough boost lol. That more than makes up for the VR rohr!
  2. Right guys, got a price for the ferry today for all those attending the show. Price is £190 Based on a car, driver and one passenger, return. This is from Holyhead to Dublin. The show is 1.5 hours from there. Let me know what interest there is on this thread and I can start to see what times would be best for you guys. Rolling road looks like it's going to happen as we nearly have enough cars now so will make a good weekend out of it for everyone
  3. Best disconnect it from the fuse box as well though
  4. Yes it is, I just stuffed mine through the hole in the bulkhead though, will remove it completely some time.
  5. No probs. I bought a bias valve too. This one.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Competition-Brake-Bias-Balance-Valve-Track-Day-etc-/320737579717?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4aad7312c5
  6. Doing this myself, there's a guy sells pipe on eBay called Cunifer pipe. It's very similar to the original pipe and not the bright non oem looking colour of new copper pipe. Bought a kit last week for 45 quid, that's for 25feet of line and includes a flaring tool and unions.
  7. What? You not going to Ultimate Dubs now? Tell me more about this stuff you ave on your headlights wouod you please?
  8. Looking really good Ben! Grille black though What you do to your lights by the way? Laminex?
  9. 02M is the family namel of box, DRP is the specific model. Fair bit of expense and work to do it right as you'll probably want to do away with the dual mass flywheel it's supposed to run with
  10. Charged, just stripped the lump down today in preparation for some hardware. Must start a build thread on here actually, worst in the world at updating them though!
  11. Not a fan of solid mounts plus I have a set of VF mounts ready to go in so want to use them Got mine finished this morning anyhow, it'll do the job ok I reckon. Excuse the welding, I can't weld for shit lol Pics...
  12. Actually, I can't do it like that, the mk3 mount on the crossmember s too big. Have to stick with the bush idea
  13. Your bottom piece is well neater than mine lol, I used a bush on the end of it, might change that now though. Good work!
  14. Rolling road day looks like it's going to happen, will make a nice weekend for the show, Anyone on here interested in participating?
  15. The AEM one you refer to is only a guage, ie; it will give you a reading as to what your AFR's are. This is what AEM refer to as it being a controller, even though it doesn't control anything lol. 12v VR's only have narrowband capability within the ecu whereas later mk4 stuff running me7 management has wideband built in as standard within the software and utilises 4 lambda sensors as opposed to one on a 12v.
  16. Your Matbro looks even older than our one in work lol
  17. Cheers, will be happier when it's braced at the bottom as well
  18. Had a spare couple of hours this afternoon so... Fabbed of a bracket to weld to the top of the front mount. This consisted of a welding a bush to some flat plate, I decided I havent much faith in my welding skills and ditched this idea in favour of a complete steel bracket with a 12mm hole drilled into it to take the bell housing bolt.. 1st bracket.. Then the makings of the second one, I have to say I had no intention of making it look like a penis lol... Tacked into place.. Welded up.. Thought it could do with strengthening to avoid any potential lateral movement so welded in a couple of
  19. Different part no. to yours though Ollie?
  20. Mine has it and has conventional, manual AC, the other one in my workshop doesnt have it and has no AC whatsoever, it's still obd2. The Corrado, which is obviously obd1, does not have ot either, nor does it have AC... My conclusion is that it is a solenoid valve required for manual air con as it would appear that it is neither found on non-AC cars or Climatronic cars, regardless of whether they re obd1 or 2. This is the valve on my car which has manual AC And the other car in the workshop with no AC... Part no. of solenoid valve..
