My stock Golf MK3 VR6 2.8 could use a little more power

My highline 2.8 had ram air filter no cat and made 212 on the rollers yes it was a late vr I'm 99% sure they had a different ecu as when fitting aircon and full leather the car was down on power due to the extra weight??? I have heard of several vr6 producing this or around this figure in standard engine form -

cheers guys i didnt editied this video jake did a friend of mine and the car isnt mine either!! lol its andre's its going up to edition as we speak... he loves it!!! the video took and hour of filming and jake threw it together over the weekend we are hoping to get him to do a few mini meet style videos something like wagen werks etc..... with some nice cars in it it woul dhave been my rado but its still tucked away!

this is an interesting read.... i damaged my sump on sunday and it has just started weaping around the plug (as it has been ground flat) i need this little lot straight away.. so from reading from the top i just need to order all the r32 stuff but the 4 motion dipstick and tube right?? and this should cost approx £215.00.... how easy is this to do i.e how long do i really need a ramp or could i get away with doing this with axle stands??? cheers for the help

yes this can be fixed no problem.. give the guys at pristine wheel reconditioners a call. they will do that no probs..... my tt rim was buckled wheni sent a set in for refurb they welded the edges due to kerbing acid dipped them heat treated them to make them run true straight again and then diamond cut them ....turned out like brand spanking new!!! very impressed.... -
yeah i live in torquay.....devon the car at present is in north wales.... the weird bit beneathe the badge is a little bubble of rust!!!!!!! bot worried as i want the rear badge removed and the seams hidden so il get that treated as soon as it get back down here.... it is an auto but again ive bought it due to the fact its history is impeccable and the body is really good, i will look to converting to manual later on as i want to get it looking sweet first.... the interior is pritty awesome i think

lol yeah shopping for it already.... got a big list to satisfy....... coilovers rear lights not sure to go 7 bar badgeless grille or 5 bar badgeless.... silicone coolent hoses goodridge lines got some awesome rims coming..... stainless manifold interior bits and pieces.....
