    That would be my mrs old car!! loved it. (l) One of the very first proper ones.. built 9yrs ago by blaupunkt as a demo car for thier new range of seethru speakers with coloured lights behind. full leather/alcantara interior, lightened body, full engine tune, polybushed and lowered.. great car that was. Lives near burnley now.. :-(

    lol.. it's a little patchy from having a slight air leak on the gun, but still, for my first go at it, it's come out ok i think.

    lol.. I borrowed a marquee off a mate and did it over the weekend..HAd heaters and lights and extraction in there.. just like a proper spray booth. lum: it's been a vr6 for over 2yrs..likin ur build btw :-) some pics of the progress... tony

    Have some new wheels to go on, and the car still needs a polish.. but u get the idea.. comments, critique welcomed.

    u need to drop an allen key in the top of middle of the top not and undo the nut with an open ended swan neck spanner if u have no access to an air gun... or a set of mole grips on the shock arm(bright siler 8mm thick) in the wheel arch. tony

    took me about 6hrs to do this one.. my first try.. but the second one took half that because if what u learnt on the first.. start with 400grit... then 600,800,1200,2000,2500 then polish.. a chore but worth it. tony

    i used a polishing kit off ebay and a drill sanding pad with various grade sanding discs. tony

    Think i did quite a good job for my first go.. got a bit of a 'haze' on the shine though.. not a true mirror finish yet. ;-) tony

    it took me 2 hrs in total to replace my head gasket. not taking into account the 2day turn around for the head skim. tony.

    am i correct in thinking that the box with wires in under my passenger seat, is the abs ecu that u guys have been saying is attached to the underside of the abs unit? car is obd1. tony.

    Hi guys.. Got some tt comps off one of our members the other day(cheers craig ;-)) Now.. i'm in a dilema.. Do i paint them white, as in my sig(theme) or do i mirror polish them, or do i paint them some lairy colour??? decisions decisions.... ;-) post and poll please. tony.

    HI guys, I have had a problem with my brakes for over a year now. When i did the conversion on my car, from 1.8 to vr6, i changed EVERYTHING to do with the braking system. I put in the ABS and associated gubbins. Now the problems are, 1, 17% brake efficency on the rear O/S calpier on the handbrake. (new caliper) 2, very long pedal travel before the brakes bite. 3, a feeling like the brakes just don't have enough power to stop the car(no real bite), just a slooooooow down of the car. All these things together make for a rather scary drive at anything over 30mph. The ABS dosen't work, as there i

    Turns out it's a BBR starchip.. Not sure on the power or tuning on it though. Gonna send them this pic to see if they can check it on their comp. tony.
