    Hey all, I've been registered a while but I'm still new here... would like to get to meet some of y'all and see your cars and and get ideas and learn and suchlike!! I'm part of a few other forums, two of our meeting spots are Ruislip Lido (HA4 7TY) and the Screwfix car park/industrial estate in Watford/Bushey (WD24 4PP) Was wondering if anyone's sort of local, would be up for a lil mini-meet at either of these two places or somewhere close by?     What's the panel filter? That square thing inside the air box?? Sorry I'm a total n00b with engines.

    Wtf 6 exhausts???????? What's the difference between de-cat and a straight through, or are they the same thing? I know a straight through removes the silencer, right? Isn't it an MOT fail?

    Yeah I'm not after improving performance, it's just a nice enhancement to the engine noise, tbh! Nice deep burble!

    True, I'll be getting a straight through centre section when I can afford one lol... for the moment the K&N is great but I'll know I'll want a bit more! What's a 6 branch?

    Corr, everyone raves about teh CDA. Seems a silly amount to spend on one though and it's just the carbon you're paying for. :\ Gggrr!! >.<

    So you'd say unsealed is better than sealed?? People keep telling me different things!! I think I'll skip on the DIY though and get a proper filter. What's the difference between just he filter/intake than a whole kit?

    Cor, there are lots of us this way?? Never knew that!! I've only seen 3 VR6's: a green 3dr R reg with morettes near me in watford, A green 3dr P reg near Ruislip Manor/South Ruislip and now this blue one!!

    Yeh but the CDA is expensive due to the carbon, there are others that are just as good for cheaper, no? I see what you mean, though... I'm not 100% sure on that tho, cutting holes in it etc... :\

    How would I do that? Wouldn't it be more expensive than getting a larger sealed one?

    Hey all!! I got hold of a nice sealed air intake, a K&N one! Fitted it last night and omg I lurve the noise! Almost sounds like a scooby to me hahahaa. But I want bigger and more noise... but I'm not gunna pay nearly £200 for a CDA one for just a bit of carbon on it... Just a mahoosive sealed one. Anyone have any ideas? Links? Prices? I'll go and get a dump valve next haha, I'm such a chav!! >.<

    There should be a spotted section!!!! Last night teh bf and I went to the MIddlesex Arms, South Ruislip for some nom, parked roung the back there was a lowered, blue 3dr VR6, audi wheelsies, VR6OC sticker in the window. Twas dark and couldn't find my phone to take any pics! You left before I left so if you saw the black 5dr, that was me!!! Own up own up!!!!??

    Hey all, gonna be changing my wheels soon. I'm not 100% sure if imma go bigger or smaller and slam it. Just looking at suggestions. Names, links, images, prices of wheels would be really appreciated!!! Suspension is standard atm; gunna lower after deciding on teh wheels! ^^

    Heehee I like tints, sunstrip I'm still 50-50 on. I'm not changing the exterior of the car - body-wise.... Not gunna debadge it!!!! Wheels im undecided on. When i pick I'll lower then? Best to have the wheels on first before lowering, right?
