i want a flocked dash

ok so i want to "compliment" my engine tone by adding something to my completly standard engine/exhaust,i want to put a 6 branch manifold on,basically if i do just this and still run my standard cat/middle section and back box will it do anything performance wise,and importantly will it sound better? without being to (chavy) and if so whats a good one to go for,and easy to heat wrap them or?

was a really good fight, hay deserved the win by far,david hay is a boxer valuev is just a tall bloke with a heavy punch,slow as hell,at the end of the day its a boxing match and the real boxer won,really happy for him,he sure knows how to move although he didnt have his guard up much?

question to anyone in the know.im after a new expansion tank for the vr, im sure the vr6 one is different to normal but they sure look the same,anyone know where i can get one from and if all mk3s have the same expansion tanks or not ?

oli when buying the new sensor what exactly do i say i need cheers

thanks lads,i think im going to clean all the oil off and change the oil and filter and then go from there with the leak,anyone know of some good spark plugs and ht leads to use? and are they easy to replace,dont mean to sound silly but should i change the dizzy cap also ?

ok so i have ready the obd1/2 thread regarding knowing which one is which but i am either blind or dumb or both and i cant seem to tell by the pictures i have taken of my engine? im also getting a slight oil leak and the picture below shows the filter casing??? covered in oil any ideas please? and finally isit hard to change the spark plugs and what size plug socket will i need? any helps much apreciated thanks

132.000 on the clock after checking the buyers guide section on your signiture i actually gave the car back to my mate it had a few problems you mentioned that i couldnt handle to be honest, tappy engine not sure when the cambelt was last done oil all over the air box area and a masive leak of coolent? no thanks ill keep looking for another vr as when i did drive it i was smiling alot

also anywhere special that does full engine rebuilds and a rough price for this?

cheers mate i need to have a look my self really to make more sense of it, reading your buyers guide section is kinda worrying me, my engine sounds slightly tappy when idling could i now need new timing chain and tensioner?

ok so i have got hold of the vr6 and its lovely i can safely say it scares me which i like i am loosing coolent when the car is stood started i can see a pipe giving out a mist of spray, does this sound simple like its either a new pipe or just need pushing on more? due to the weather and working i havnt had time to check it out, also i really want to clean the bay up and make it as colourful as i can, as im new to this im unsure of what i can easily change, like hose pipes etc? any guidence and links to items i can get will be great cheers

haha nice to hear it mate, just dont wanna be seen asa the crazy guy with more money than sence, as for a start i am definitly not in the money haha and its taken alot of thought in weather or not i should get the vr as i am aware its going to cost alot in general but i want it and thats that i would stick with a 1.8 gl or something like that but there just isnt a nice one out there and with this vr6 been offered from a good mate of mine atleast i know where its come from and i dont have to travel to get it or anything

yeah im surprised only 1 person has properly mentioned the extreme price im paying i dont wanna get into detail of why im doing it because it wont change my views or my mind but im 19(20) in a few months 1 years driving experience almost 2 i would have had a years no claims by now almost 2 but my insurance company messed that up and best quote i got on the vr was 3800 with the AA paying so much on insurance is ok at the minute with no bills to worry about ect i dont see why not, may aswell do it whilst i can. i like the car in general and just fancied the vr6 as i have had a few 1.4 mk3s but
