hi tom n mike, i need some help here. regarding the distributor coil.. i can find any OEM replacement for my 1993 VR6. Most of them sell the square coilpack, I suppose the square coilpack cannot fit my car type!! am i right? Any idea which website can buy a distibutor coil on line?? Need help. thanks ray

Hi frens, any advise which is a better quality fuel injectors for Yr 93 Golf Vr6? I went to the a few online parts com. A few brands posted - Bosch, Python, VMc etc.. Anyone out there can give any advice n comment which to order? Thanks.

hi mike, coilpack? u meant the distributior ? that round cyclindrical cap that connect the 6 high tension cable lead from the spark plug to the engine? My technical jargon for car is somehow lacking . Next, how many injectors are there in these car? thanks a million.

thanks mike. i just got my vr6 top overhauled. Piston rings, cam bearings, conrod bearings, both timing chains, timng tensioners, all engine gaskets , new complete clutch kit, waterpump, 3 engine mountings ALL new! Thats why i cannot diagnose why there is a flat spot at 2000-3000 rpm rev. AS mentioned, after 3000 - 5500 rpm, the car shoots off like a bullet.

Dear Vr6 frens, I just bought a VR6 golf MK3 . New to this world of Vr6. Can anyone tell me wat was the actual horsepower of this Year 1993 Golf Vr6 , 2.8L? thanks. I seem to have a lag in the acceleration between rpm 2000 - 3000 revs. After this lagging point, the car pulls v well. With computer diagnose kit check - no faults found. Can anyone in this world of Vr6 help me on this. With heartfelts thanks. ray
