go to seriousperformance website a order yourself some p21s and some colonite as a base wax.the colonite is a extremely long lasting wax originally designed for boats and p21s is as good a carnuba wax as their is for wet looks. clay and polish every six months apply the colonite for your protector wax then layer twice with p21s .layering is key to longevity......and buy a machine polisher 10 times better than by hand! oh and i agree, autoglym is only slightly better than turtle wax.
ive got one of these myself and it seems a good price, check on pistonheads though, some cheaper ones but also some way over priced aswell,so your mates seems nicely in between
Spoke to them yesterday, unfortunately dont do the jamex deal any more :-( . have settled on a set of v.maxx £500 fitted at racemodz in manchester, have heard ok things about these but will have to see for myself!
These are my new favourite wheels ,you may proceed to mock me!I like all the old favourites but fancy something new and different so am getting these fromm rimstyle £700 for 18".I think they will look ok on a mark 4......might be an expensive mistake though,we will see, lol!
Am after a set of coilovers for golf 4 motion for about the 500 pound area any sugestions or cheap suppliers. At the moment it looks like a set of AP,s from Awesome gti but they want £440 for the coilovers and £200 for fitting! Is this an easy diy job ?
am looking at coilovers at the mo but am struggling to make a choice, have considered all the usual suspects,kw,koni etc but keep hearing about these v maxx jobs, anyone have any experience of them.
i use poorboys, polish and wax used to use p21s but prefer the poorboys as it is just as wet looking lasts longer and smells of bubblegum, sad i know.lol.
Usually 3 - 4 hours on a sunday, using poorboys polish and then poorboys nattys pastewax, comes up sweet!doesnt happen every week though, the joys of living in manchester, lol.
just wonderd if anyone else has had this.when you turn key a clicking starts from the glove box area even bfore you turn it over.have sourced the noise to the bulkhead area on the nearside but am clueless as to what it could be,anyone have any ideas,oh yeah it is a 2003 golf v6.thanks
