For VW Expo there was always a good mix of Air and water cooled... Air is not my thing either so hopefully Bug Lovin have still got the same jive Expo did.. Still good for the family though...

im running a scorpion letter box style which is nice and deep at low revs then you get louder and more growl up top of range! Smiles per miles again lol

can you still get the windscreen protector plastic thingy that goes at the bottom of the screen and screws in wih plastic fittings? mine like others i am sure is perished. thanks

what about boot polish? I use Bumper care which has always served well in the past, heat guns do well as stated previously.

crankshaft sensor went on my toledo 2.0 8v, random cutting out and would not restart for a couple of mins.. could cut out after 1 metre or 10 miles!

going lowered springs without uprated shocks will see you needing to change them in a year or at least your top mounts.. I think a budget set up of springs and shocks would be better than springs. i would say try turning the engine over by hand first for the fear of seized engine! Fresh fluids are good but turn the engine by hand first just to make sure everything moves, saves wasting more money on fluids if your engine is shagged.. Why not have yourself a project.... you have managed to be without the car for 2 years anyway. Have some fun with it! Over and out Russ
