  1. Im very impressed with my FKs, they go from very soft on setting 1 to track work hard on 6. Quality seems good, very pleased for £500.
  2. I have the 288 discs btw, and KW arbs/FK sport edition coilovers.
  3. I bought a set of pagid RS5 pads for my VR, i was at bedford autodrome last monday, They were incredible, over 80 laps of the circuit on the day, no fade, incredible stopping distance, i was outbreaking some serious machinery into the left/right jink on the back staight from 120mph, worth every penny of the £230 i paid. they were a revelation compared to my redstuffs i used at mallory park in feb. I also have goodridge hoses with motul rbf600 fluid and grooved discs.
  4. Suspension: FK Sport Edition Plus coilovers -50mm front -50mm rear KW ARBs Poly mounts Wheels: TT Comp 7x17 Tyres: Avon ZZ3 205/40/17 no rubbing \o/
  5. I just bought a set of FK Sport edition plus adujustable coilovers from venom for £508 delivered, havent fitted them yet but they look pretty good.
  6. Cool, thanks for the info, i wont have to pay £225 for pagid greys, as that was my other option.
  7. I have the compbrake topmounts, there are 2 problems with them: They need 2 holes drilling in the top of the suspension tower so bolts can screw into as otherwise they move about alot when the front end lifts over bumps or acceleration out of bends, i could only find the angle to drill one of the holes. They wore out the spring cup on the top of my koni adjustable shoscks, i am unsure wether you are supposed to use the standard VW topmount bearing in conjunction with it or not as there are no fitting instructions and no1 at compbrake can tell if they should or not. Otherwise they seem great qu
  8. I used redstuff at mallory park recently, they faded pretty quick, i dont think they are great for anything other than fast road.
  9. Do the Audi TT/S3 yellowstuff pads fit the 288mm brake setup?
  10. I saw a set of AVO GTX coilovers for a decent price, are these any good?
  11. Ive got about £700 to spend on a set of coilovers, i would like some opinions on which are the best for my 5 door 97 VR6, i know KW are good but i would prefer a set with some damping adjustment and KW V2s are well over £1000. Thanks!
  12. I put superpro poly bushes on my front wishbones, they are slightly more compliant than powerflex and they do sharpen up turn in and front end grip, the down side is they become more sensitive to camber changes on the road so dips and potholes will unsettle the front end more than usual. I have Koni SST's and polyurethane top mounts, i went through a set of rubber top mounts in 3 months after putting the suspension on
