    come on ben no need to be nasty bout the mk2, plus i think that creation looks like a pug 206cc from the side view which has gotta be worse than a mk2 anyday!! lol

    the vr6 loom should plug straight into the mk2 fusebox providing your mk2 is ce2?just remove the mk2 engine loom and relace with the vr6 engine loom,hope this helps

    im pretty sure that a obd1 vr6 has a 4 bar fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail, im sure someone will confirm wether this is correct!!

    yea was pointing right way, but under closer inspection the fine wire inside when you look through the maf is broken so guessing its trashed!!

    hello all my recently converted mk2 vr6 starts ok but ran really badly sounded like misfire, so anyway one day i started it up and it ran bad so i unplugged the maf she now runs a treat!! why is this?what does it mean? sorry to sound dumb!! lol

    hello mate, take it into your local welding place, ive welded several alloy wheels before and had no problems as long as the crack is prepped well for welding and then polished off smooth!!hope this helps

    hi, probably best to put up a picture of it and its rough location on wiring harness, for example its next to the air flow meter, well probably have a easier job tryin to id it for you, hope this helps

    one of my friends had this problem turned out he had managed to plug horn into lights in engine bay or something like that!!

    hi when i done my conversion recently i lowered engine in then marked chassis rail, removed engine then merrily bashed the chassis rail til i thought it would clear!! worked a treat lol

    put a vr6 into my mk2 golf and it started and ran so after approx two minutes i stopped it, since then it wont run for anything longer than two seconds, i guessed it was immobiliser, so i bought a matching ecu, key and transponder hoping to cure problem, it still wont run for longer than two seconds, any ideas?please help if you can?

    just few quick questions ive been looking around and trying to find relevant info bout turbos and no one is able to help, is it true that i can run a turbo of standard obd1 ecu? without a remap? i heard it can be done but engine needs to be wired in correctly as vw intended does this mean use of lambda and carbon canister etc etc? hope someone can help, cheers
