    I think you should be ok, there main things they go for are your insurance and road tax. if you booked the MOT test before you may have possible been caught that would also go in your favour, im not sure what the fine/points is for not having an MOT, but I know people that have been driving for 4-5 months without an MOT and only found out when they went to tax it that they didn’t have one.

    http://www.ukmot.com/manual.asp I dont know if anyone has ever seen or used this before? might be a re-post, however. In here is what is tested in a MOT and how it should be to pass. it mentions such things as, if the car is fitted with lowering springs, when the car is jacked up there may be movment up and down with the spring. this is not a fail. etc etc I'm sure someone will find it useful!

    To be honest, i think its going to be down to how hot your MOT tester is, providing it passes emissions I cant imagen the MOT tester questioning if it should have a cat or not, unless they know that type of car well. I would run a de-cat pipe put it in and see if its passes. if it dosen’t its only a 5 min job to put the cat back and then you will know for the future!

    haha you wish you could be me up that hill! no, im just thinking for the future, because that engine wont be around for ever! and its alot easyer to find a low milage a 2.8 for sale rarther then the 2.9 ok RikkiVR6Supercharged cheers!

    as above if it came with one it will need one, but you could run a de-cat pipe and re-fit the cat for MOT but thats up to you!

    Ok, iv got a raddo vr6, if i was to change the engine to the 2.8, I’m assuming id need an obd1, would the ecu cope with the slightly smaller size? I would be using raddo gear box etc although that wouldn’t make a difference. Failing that is the r32 lump (engine mount wise) a strait swap? Sorry for the silly questions!

    I'm a member ob RTOC (Renault turbo owners club) and for the past two years we have had a private hire of santapod, it normally works out at 50quid a ticked with 30ish people there, with 30 people that pretty much means no queuing, and unlimited runs, last year a chap did 79 runs! both years we had it on a Friday, simply as to hire santapod on a weekend is really expensive and normally fully booked, I don’t know if anyone would be interested in this? its great for getting your car set up etc and not having to queue 30mins+ for a run. if enough people are interested it could be good to get a

    just some more silly questions regarding the pump, does it run constantly? or only once the engine is turned off? and is it on the passenger side of the engine at the top on the back? i assume it is the pump thats coursing the noise just like a buzzing/slight grind ish type noise if that makes sense?

    hey, my knowledge of vr6 engines isn't so great at the moment so iv got a couple of possible silly questions i need to get hold of thee aux water up for a corrado vr, however no breakers seems to have one of a 2.9. so are they the same including fittings etc as the golf vr? so could I intact use one from a 2.8? if so, I'm not fully sure if the raddos went obd1 and obd2? i have a k reg raddo so I'm not sure which one i would need? or even if it makes a difference thanks in advance Grant
