    maybe oil and filter change(genuine filter) may help

    blue smoke on overrun may be worn valve stem oil seals, my old rado did this,they were knackered

    possible the window regulator plastic guides are breaking up

    to check level,selector in park and engine idling and at normal running temp,if its low top up by pouring down atf dipstick tube. if its a 3 speed gearbox oil and filter change is quite straight forward

    mine runs better on super green and gives around 28 mpg (better since k and n and drilled air box!!

    went to get highline mot'd,failed on o/s/f sill and abs pump fault,looks like another attack on bank balance,out comes the mk3 gti 16v back up
