    You lucky!!! I just managed to get a garage by my council flat because peolpe were moaning about me cleaning her????!!! People need to get a life! So now they hear the roar from my engine in the confinds of my garage every morning at 5am!! Wankers!!

    Mate sounds like your getting DONE!!! Go and see the cizizens advice burea or if not phone the police and ask them! I had similar problem when i couldn't tax the car because of MOT, i phoned up the local bobby and they said not to worry you have 1 to 2 months to get, but the DVLA were ready to rape my ass in court??!!! I dont think they have a leg to stand on as now its's been moved and as long as you have paper work from your landlord it should be all sweet, i would say though it sounds like someone is reporting you..... you prob have a grass in your area!!! Good look anyway man!

    AAA ill see the man and get him to plug her in! Have you heard of them atfer market VAG sysytems on ebay and if they work??? Might be worth getting one!

    Ive got similar prob mate, mine revving upto 1300 then comes down and cuts out???! This is when she is hot or cold??! Im hunting for answers now so il let you know if i get any results and like wise with you

    Vw £160 notes with 12mnths warrenty! Go for this as aftermarkets arent as good!!

    sonds like its your coilpack mate! i had same problem! Take off each hd lead one at a time and if it starts bucking and missfiring its had it! Remember to put them back on correctly and dont get a shock! I tried repairing mine but its not worth it,just buy new as its a common fault on them!

    Hey again, my vr has a few health problems....... she is revving on her own upto 1300 rpm coming down and back up then cuts out, it does this when im stationary or moving like lastnight cut out at 60mph and nearly lost it into hedge!!!! Ive had sparks, hd leads, coilpack,rad,waterpump.cooling fan belt,numerous hoses changed its happened about 10 times now but i need sorting! Ive had my uncle who's a dab hand on VW's but no luck....... Any advice would be a great help!!!

    Im in desperate need too!!!Ive got rust on top of roof by drivers side window and some odd patches of rust over rear arches (size of 50p) i want a mint job on it as the rest of paint work is still dam sweet! I need somewhere local so can any one help? Thanks

    yeah man i want it sorting asap! My mmate looked at window and he keen to have a go but i want a good job! The aches aren't that bad considering she ia14 years old, just bubbles the size of 50p, im going round a few local body shops tomorrow so fingers crossed i can get her booked in!!

    when the car was new my black metallic paint was only £1000 extra??? How come now 2000??

    took it apart and found it was the rad! Tiny hole blowing coolant into fans, changed it and fan belt and now she running sweet as a nut! If your rad goes you can do yourself, slide it out from the bottom,we didnt even have to disconnect the air con! Happy days

    you must have some cash floating around! They said mine would be sent to local spray shop in Shrewsbury ( Renault ) so make sure you get a good job done! Let me know how you get on!

    I;m in need of some minor repairs above my windscreen on drivers side, i've got a slug trial of rust about 6 inchs along the seal,slight scratch on rear bumber,2 spots on wheel arches( size of 50p) its getting gradually worse anyone got any tips or know of any good body shops in my are???? VW advised full respray at cost of £2000.......

    Had the same prob man, i changed everything you can imagine trying to find the fault! Does you car cut out on you? Have you got any coolant or white liquid near thermastat houseing or coil pack? I gave up in the end and stripped it, found my rad had slight hole in top right corner behind air con rad which when under pressure woluld blow out through cooling fans on to block and coil pack. Check it out i hope it isnt your rad because its a bitch of a job, good luck

    Any advice on changing rad? And how much?? VW said £130...... Is there any other common faults to keep my eyes open for? i changed aux water pump, hd leads,sparks,coilpack, numerous hoses but im always getting a spray from rad or somewhere down there on to my coil pack and sparks causing missfires and stuttering! Its cut out dead on me aroubd 5 times this week???? am i looking at rad or summut BIGTIME??????? ANY HINTS PLEASE GET BACK ASAP
