They are the same but they have different part number's not sure if there is much difference though.

It needs a selector alignment, quite easy to do. I dont have the process with me now but dieselgeek may have the process up for when you install there Short shifter. If it doesn't select after that then there is something else wrong.

Also the flapper is a great feature trying to work out how to get it working so I can control it from the car. I had to extend my pipes out and push the left one out a bit because of the tow hook. and I have got a stock valence which I am going to cut. I don't have any decent pics yet though

theres no way the mk5 can go 70 bias unless you disconnected the front drive shafts or the wheels are off the ground.
