    hi, my raddo failed its mot yesterday for nearside and offside front lower suspension arm has excessive play in the ball joint nearside and offside front anti roll bar linkage rubber mounting deteriorated handbrake not working properly and failed on carbon monoxide emitions i think the handbrake cable needs adjusting, ive never done this, but have been told its easy??? i am going to get a petrol treatment to try and sort the emitions my biggest challenge is going to be the suspension, although im happy to give it a go, can anyone help by telling me what parts will i need and could anyone give

    thanks guys, i always dreamed of having a raddo, and was so excited when i finaly got her, its been such a disapointment from the start though, but every time i think i should just cut my losses and get rid i look at her and see how sexy she looks and just cant do it, maybe this might be a opertunity to get the 1.8t conversion.

    im gutted, was driving the car to work and had a big pop then lost all compresion, got a realy bad feeling she may be dead, got a tow home, but its to dark to have a look at her to have any idea whats wrong, totaly im fed up with her now, shes turned out to be the most unreliable and most expensive car ive ever owned, even my old astra was better than this!! :-( :-(

    my vr has started to only fire up on 4 cyliners, the other 2 kick in within a few seconds, but it realy doesnt sound good. im planing on spending the weekend working on her to try and diy fix her, she has new sparkys, leads and coil pack, but i am planing on checking all these again anyway, but does anyone have any other suggestions before i get started? thanks for any advice

    i like the first one the best nat due to my job i cant get any facial ones apart from a single pair in my ears, i recomend a hood piercing to any female though, they make a huge diffrence :-p but i would defo recomend you get it numbed unless you like pain, i didnt and owchhhhhhhh!! planing a new tat in the new year, i want one on my wrist that runs up my arm in some way, not sure what yet though.

    ive got 3 tats, ears, tongue, and bellybutton pierced and a vertical hood piercing. i was petrified getting the tongue done, but the piercing itself realy isnt that bad, its the few days after when it swells that hurt, but the pain is half the fun lol

    i heard about this a long while back to, like others have said, thats why i reverse into spaces, also always keep my doors locked whenever im in the car, someone tryed to jump in the scoob once when i was sat at in traffic, scared me to death, just glad i had the doors locked.

    i think the 2 faced look is cool, i wouldnt do it to any car i owned, but fair play to him for trying something diffrent, unfortunatly the vag scene can be a bit like a flock of sheep at times.

    i work nights so im always driving at night but its at 10pm and 6am so the roads arent very quiet, but as im usualy awake at odd hours at the weekend i do it then, i find it very theraputic

    I hope someone can help me, ive alredy posted about this as some of you will prob remember, but probs are still persisting. ok, about 6 weeks ago i started having probs with her stalling when i went down my gears, and being very reluctent to start again. When she did start she stank of fuel, ran lumpy and wouldnt keep a steady idle speed. so i replaced the spark plugs, ht leads, coilpack, fuel filter, gave her an oil and filter change, and cleaned the isv. Although this did make the engine pick up better it didnt sort the stalling. So i bought a vag-com, it threw up 3 codes: the coolent temp s

    i can vouch for hondas reliability, the civic i have never misses a beat, its only the 1.5 vetec though, but parts are quite expensive, and has anyone else noticed the disturbing resembelence the type r sound has to the crazy frog lol im a big jap car fan, and the jap sceen is huge but its not as friendly and welcoming as the vag sceen. having said that you can get a lot more power for your money with jap.

    drove the car yesterday for the first time all week and although its not overfueling as much its started stalling again when i change down gear, i pluged in the vag-com and the coolent temp sensor fault has returned along with the o2 sensor fault, im gona order a new o2 sensor (any sugestions on who from would be apreciated) but not sure what to do about the coolant sensor, anyone got any ideas?

    just to get her running right would be nice atm, ive had nothing but probs so far, but i do plan to eather turbo the v6 or put another engine i have kicking around in sometime in the future.

    spent all last week rubbing down and spraying my wheels, and spraying the debadged grill,i put the wheels back on and fitted the grill yesterday, so thought i put some pics up to see what you all think? ive got some smoked back lights on order, been waiting 6 weeks for them but been asured they will be with me this week. im realy pleased with her new look, although she desperatly needs lowering now!! http://s972.photobucket.com/albums/ae205/loubyvr6/new%20look/

    i use meguirs car shampo (the purple one) and autoglym aquawax, its so easy to use, no need to chammy after washing, smells yummy and you can use it on every part of the car, windows, black trim etc without leaving any white residue like cheep polish does.

    update on the car on saturday i first replaced the coil pack, that didnt realy make any diffrence, just a bit better on acceleration, so cleaned both battery blocks, but still no better, so i fitted the engine speed sensor and took her for a drive, she was driving like a piece of c**p for about 5 mins then settled down, and is now running fine, and im not getting choked by petrol fumes anymore, so typicly the last thing i changed was the problem lol, im going to reset the error codes latter, and hopefully the o2 sensor doesnt re-occure. have a new problem now though, although it is small, the
