cheers next on the check list, got a new pump coming tuesday ill drop that in and try it on the off chance the garage did recieve 2 faulty parts if it is an earth whats the easist cure?new earth point?

just after any help following on from my non starter thread here goes my vr broke the other day (see non starter thread) and my garage told me the fuel pump was broken after many days of them messing me about i told them to tow it back to my house for me to sort due to thm installing 2 new pumps and telling me the pumps were damaged?? so ive orderd a new pump from a different supplier, my concer now is that the pump isnt acually the issue, im thinking immobilizer after reading other threads and peoples advice, so my question is at what point would the immob stop the engine from starting as`im

looking like its gonna be the 11th i have a couple of tricks up my sleeve including jerry cans and my spare wheel;-) this is all for good banter i just like winding him up he loves all the power and would hate anyone to beat him but if by anychance i did he would be gutted probally just by somthing even quicker lol, done a few 1/4 miles but only on two wheels will report back once the task is done, ill do all i can to beat him and if that fails ill just ram him lol

me and a friend are gonna go head to head on a 1/4 mile near york for abit of a giggle and for me to prove he drives a girls car ,ill be in a standard vr6 with just an air filter and he'll be in a 1.8t tt quottro (225bhp) again standard whats my chances???? reading that the TTs will do about 15.5secs? im i gonna get beat by a ladies car?? lol PLACE YOUR BETS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

im after abit of help with a DRL mod for a friend on his audi the guys on the TT forum aint willing to let on! basically we,ve connected a row of rs8 style LEDS to his side lights so when the side lights are on so are the LEDS simples!!!!!!! but now he wants just the leds to come on when his interior light comes on when unlocking so i was planning on running a wire from the interior light straight to the LEDS but what do i need to do to stop power then from coming from the side lights to the interior light if that makes sense????

buggerd fuel pump will all be sorted tomorrow but wasnt cheap BAD TIMES

completley baffled by thi s now still not show ing any faults except for the speed snsor which is working as it gets a signal when its trying to start, got a good spark ive checked all plugs etc no more more immobilizer faults recorded where do i start?

probally not relivent again but ive never noticed it before theres a constant buzzing/whinning noise coming from the egine when the ignition is on, from behind the coil pack ( silver cylinder shaped thing with a hose going in to the bottom of it and wires at the top)

00518- THROTTLE POSTION SENSOR (G69) 30-10- OPEN OR SHORT TO B+ - INTERMITTENT i should have said i was looking at all the different reading it did say the trottle postion was at 13 degrease at normal and went up to 76 when you push the pedal down????

it has an after market immobilizer and alarm when the imob kicks in it kills everything wont even try to start could it be the oe imob kicking in ????? probally not relivent but i changed the stereo yesterday that is the only thing on the car i have changed

oh and its a mk3 obd1 1995 also if i keep sarting it over and over there is no smell of fuel in the egine

Help!!!!! my vr brokedown on the way home and wont start againthis is what happend drove over a speed bump and chaged from 2nd to 5th put my foot down and the engine just died the dash lights came on and rolled to a stop, tried stating it a few times and the best it would do was splutter to 500rpm max and instantly cut out ive run vagcom and 3 faults where found 3 FAULTS FOUND 00518- THROTTLE POSTION SENSOR (G69) 30-10- OPEN OR SHORT TO B+ - INTERMITTENT 17978 - ENGINE START BLOCKED BY IMMOBILIZER P1570 -35-10................ INTERMITTENT 00513 - ENGINE SPEED SENSO

cheers had a feeling it was that but on mine where the leaver looks to have been it has been worn/grinded off? managed to get one on witha screwdriver but the other will not budge, ill have a play tomoz, cheers for your help bud
