Fuel pressure regulator, could have stuck wide open flooding the engine and would create the put put sound. Trouble is only way to see would be try a known working one, that is if you're fully satisfied and proven its not electronic problem

i didnt get them from a car, i got them from TPS (trade VAG parts supplier) and just asked for 2 lupo gti wiper arms p/n 6X2 998 406, this was the correct p/n when i ordered them. The mk4 passenger wiper i got from my local dealer and asked for an aero passenger blade from a 2004 golf it is essential that they are both drivers side arms, the passenger side arms wont lift up off the screen as the angle of the bend and the hinge fouls on the bonnet

the lupo GTI was the only lupo to ever get aero wipers so any should do. the mk4 passenger side is because it creates the most swept surface on the screen, you can use the lupo drivers side blade on the passenger side but it leaves a big area un-wiped, so i swapped it for a mk4 passenger blade. The aero arms look so much better than just the retro fit blades on cage arms, much more low profile

from a lupo GTI 2 drivers side arms, a drivers side blade for the drivers side and from a mk4 golf a passenger side blade for the passenger side. the arms bolt right on, the only modification i had to make was slightly bending them a bit more at the point they are already bent at.

what i want to know is, why, whatever you look at on youtube, there usually ends up being in the related list on the right side, something about either massive cysts or spots or that minxy girl with the huge t!ts that speaks japanese? what do they have to do with cars, or the sound barrier, or will it blend? nothing.

they are 5x100 so will physically, but they are wider and the offset is 13 less, you would need arch work as they will stick out an extra 26mm, inner clearance would be the same the 9 inch wide version would stick out even further, 43mm, you may have shock interference on the inside. for reference, i have 7.5j ET38 wheels and coilovers, the shock clearance is mm, when my car had to be recovered once there wasnt enough room for the lad to slide the straps between the wheel and the shock. Thats just the calculations though, im sure someone will chime in that has fitted similar measurement wheel

i found out the raf are doing exercises in the area, it was confirmed as a sonic boom, f*ckin loud!!

We did, all over town, there was a huge loud bang and the whole ground shook, my car alarm went off and he house shook, i thought the roof had fallen off and onto my car or something. Im thinking it was a sonic boom from a jet.

how old are your top mount bushes, they do sit proud but not an inch, more like 10-15mm
