    you wouldnt get much for your VR6 anyway, sad but true, yes its worth a fortune to us but to anyone else they are at least a 14yr old mk3 golf that is expensive to run = bad for resale. so SORN the VR6 and get a 1.8T S3, then slowly save up and the VR6 can be an awesome build project. Best plan ever!

    Well what Wight the network being off what's everyone been up to? I've decided to concentrate back on actual game progress and have started completing the endurance races. I even started to challenge myself by seeing the alowest car I could win in. I managed to win the grand valley 300 in my cappuccino RM. Tip - don't use the X2010 for enduros, it may take you longer in a slower car but it's much easier and mire enjoyable, leave the X2010 for b spec bob to rack up the credits and get a 908 HDI FAP or Mazda 787B and have much more fun. I'm also up to 500 different cars, used car dealer cycling

    Interesting idea with the handle recess is there still plenty of room to grab them? Like the engine very much it look brand new again and especially the brushed inlet

    normal operation is needle straight up at 90, it shouldnt really deviate much from this either

    What do you make of it, i was pretty amazed that it took their team of "outside experts" 5 days to discover the full extent of what went on, and that they still dont know who it was or what they actually got hold of, before they even started to rebuild and strengthen the network to make it all new and better. I mean these people have to be the best in their industry. Its going to affect their future operation of the network too once its fully back on, i can see (but hope not) that they may move to a subscription service much like take-the-mickey-soft.     have you tried leaving a block on the brake pedal overnight to try and let any bubbles in the system surface? helped with mine, seems the VW ABS system is a real PITA to bleed, is it still teves20 on the mk4?

    yea the point of the tank is the condense the oil vapour loaded air so the oil doesnt sh!t up your intake, tbh mines been on for a few months and it doesnt collect much at all, not like the 20VT engines, they can collect an inch of mank in a couple of months

    the oil light will not be related to this, you need to sort this problem out additionally, if the oil light is on i would first re check the level and top back up again, if the level keeps receeding then you need to source the fault

    if your boost pipe is off it will be overfuelling like crazy cos it will be expecting so much more air in the cylinders that the turbo compressed into them, with the boost pipe off its just atmospheric so the amount of fuel will be totally disproportionate to the amount of air it is expecting to be in there, so overfuels and you get dirty black smoke

    people have used 15mm catch tanks with no ill effect, 19mm tanks are very expensive

    you could just have a boost pipe come undone, that could cause grey and black smoke, also turbo seals could cause the grey smoke if its on the white side

    the only benefit of a power rohr is its made of metal so wont split, and its shiny :-) but it doesnt fit as well as the oem one. I did this exact modification when both my intake and crankcase valve split, power rohr, greddy copy catch tank off ebay and 19mm ID oil resistant tubing and blanked off the original vac hose with a screw

    dont think they make them any more, but there are replica sets available and they are of similar high quality, to look at you cant tell them apart
