  3. when you have the device installed open up device manager, right click on it and select properties, choose the advanced tab then click advanced port settings, shoose the available com port you want and ok all the boxes, you may need to restart the computer for the change to take effect. If the software only lets you choose the first set of com ports and they are all reserved by other devices, like vagcom does, you will have to find what is using the com port you want to assign by doing the above on other connected devices like modems etc and re assign them a com port out of the range you want

  7. Anyone managed to get the 22B yet? that was one of the best cars in GT2 and i want it again, sick of cycling through the used lot. Ive kind of left it hanging for a week or so now, got gold up to extreme and first set of races in extreme then had to level up to unlock nascar, went to the nascar school in special and the expert tests are so fricking impossible i nearly threw the controller through the tv after about literally 100 goes, im certain the game intentionally p!sses you off too cos you cant touch crash into anything so if youre doing good then the b@$7@rd AI cars smash into you AAAAAA

damn, have to wait for the re run in a few days, god bless sky hd search function :-D
  13. dont forget copper sump washer. dont want to find it leaking from there after youve just filled up with fresh oil. tightening torque for the filter housing is stamped on it, 30 or 35NM iirc, it says it in a stupid way though like 25+5
  14. mitubishi, EVO, GTO, ok GTO not so much a family hatch. theres also Hondas CRV but that more of a crossover or whatever they want to call it. as a fair comparison for a subaru forester theres a toyota, outlander or something
  15. possibly the most awesome toy ive ever seen
  16. i searched the same thing when mine did it in the snow, pretty much every result returned the same answer, the abs can tell when its ice prob due to the low force to break loose and actions the brakes on the spinning wheel. Unless mk3s got electronic diff lock for this scenario, ive had newer cars that did have this make the exact same noise on ice/snow
  17. i got 320mm, feels good

    Oh dear

berrrilliant. the fact that the car released itself from the snow without the woman drivng it, surely prrof of how bad women are lol
  19. if you are careful you can just push a rod or something like a bbq skewer through it, to the side of the loom already there, and then gaffer tape the cable to the skewer and pull it back through, much less hassle than removing and refitting that grommet and the hole basically self seals round the cable as the hole is just a tiny poke hole from the skewer. Thats how ive always done mine.
  20. I read on the 3m site that it can potentially pull off the paint when you take it off, they in fact recommend rather than pull it off that you can layer it up to 5 times without diminishing the quality, so seems like something you would have to be sure you wanted to do if you wrapped the whole car
