  1. I got round to maintaining my fuel filler nozzle today as it had a little rust on it, i then realised that you can take the whole rubber seal out and thusly did to give me more room to work, i found about 2 bags of sugar worth of soil crammed in tight behind it, the nozzle and area it occupies is not sealed away from the wheel arch so any sh!te that made its way up there obviously stayed, i cleaned it out and sorted the nozzle out, all is good on mine anyway. But just thought it might be a useful thing to say to everyone to take a look and see whats going on, cos it looks like a right crap tra

  9. Sprayed up my grille badge in a different colour cos i fancied a change, its saab rose quartz, a kind of champagne silver that flips through various red shades, the pics dont do it any justice at all its way different in person, stands out much more than the stock chrome, not sure about it yet, ill see if it grows on me. And i sprayed up every cap and the cover in the engine bay to make it all look a bit tidier and together, id like to get the inlet manifold polished up too at some point to carry on the polished part of the theme. Got my new Bosch S5 battery on too, which feels a lot more po
  10. its very easy, even if your bolts are being a tart to remove you can do a full disc and pad change in a morning. 1 thing to remember is the calliper bolts take a 7mm allen key and not a lot of kits have a 7mm for some reason, making you buy a 7mm allen key labelled as a brake pad tool for a fiver! put a smear of copper grease between the hub and disc, disc and wheel and on the back side of the pads, you will thank yourself for this come next time you change them too :-)

  16. cheers guys yea it was good, had a little play with a brand new porsche gt3, i knew i dont have the power to keep up but it was good fun and on a twisty road i know like the back of my hand and he obviously didnt, so i didnt do too bad of a job sticking in his sight and he was obviously annoyed by me as he kept trying to bez off. We got out onto a main A road which was quite heavy with traffic and i stuck behind every time he overtook, im under no illusion he was being overly cautious with his super safe overtakes being in a 60 plate GT3 with centrelock wheels giving me enough space to follow
