    Well i said id got to the bottom of what the problem was, it was the fpr, which i had just recently replaced. just got round to sorting this out as ive been in the wars and unable to do anything I bought it from an ebay shop and they stated it was bosch proper bosch genuine bosch. It turned up and i straight away paypal disputed the transaction as it was made in china, they refunded my money rather than face the wrath of paypal so i fitted it and thought woo free fpr if it lasts 5 mins it doesnt matter. doomed words.... pics against the vw regulator that just wore out and wouldnt keep residual

    i dont really do porsche rims on vag but have to say the white porsches on the white vr6 goes so well. D90s arent they? do you know what front splitter that is? it looks like a mix between the deeper older one and the slimmer newer one. i like it.

    first can you pull it back up and it feels disconnected and just on a strong spring? if so have a look up under the dash at the top of the clutch pedal and there is a little metal box that houses a clip that connects to the cylinder arm, check the top of the box hasnt snapped its welds and popped off, this is a very common problem as the standard welds on the box are only spot welds so check this first

    what is the difference between gen red and gen black? i just got some gen leads and heard reds were better so insisted upon them, but then looked at them and they looked exactly the same as the gen black ones that they replaced. being red they obviously look nicer and therefore will add a few bhp

    you can get them form the dealer, id put the proper black ones on they arent much and they wont corrode

    you need take the heater control panel out to have a look and see if the cables are all fastened in or its all snapped up at the back

    nasty viral infections, starting with minor ones like sore throat, leading to worse ones like tonsilitis, leading to sinusitis leading to labrynthitis there was a few more along the wat but i cant remember what they said to me. At least they did agree with me that everything i have all at once would lead to a very unhappy camper who felt like they are on deaths door lol. so im just shit out of luck lol

    cheers mate, what a set we are on this site eh, yea seems like this has been the worst year on record for me, they said i got labrynthitis too which is a middle ear infection and makes you feel motion sick constantly, like when youve had too much to drink and you lie in bed and your whole world tumbles around you. I already had 2 injections of cyclizine which is a motion sickness drug they did them with pub darts it felt like, im stable enough to keep pills down now though

    you can change the gear oil by just driving the front wheels onto blocks, you dont need much of an angle to drain the box. its a 17mm allen key socket bolt. make sure you clean all the swarf out of both plugs as they are magnetic. There shouldnt be much on them but best to get it out and not circulating in the new gear oil. i would get a piece of clear hose and a funnel to fill up makes it miles easier.

    Just spent 2 days in the acute care unit after a few weeks of feeling rubbish then worsening and worsening. Had the emergency doc out on sunday night and they said if no better in the morning go back. I went back and they did their tests and next minute im being admitted with suspected meningitis! And they are are super wary as i had it 9 years ago too. I endured a battery of tests including brain scans (they confirmed yes its there) chest xrays and enough doctors bullshit to speculate that i had anything they could think of. Including a lumbar puncture which is easily 8 out of 10 for pain,

    Fair point, power to weight BHP per ton of a 300bhp focus is 223.80so obviousy way faster. Standard book figures Focus ST 221BHP, 320Nm (236 lb ft) torque 1362 kg Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 164.87 VR6 172BHP, 240Nm (177 ft·lbf) torque 1155 kg Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 151.31 interestingly if you take the given power most VR6s achieve of about 190 the power to weight is 167.14
