  1. ive looked in the parts recommenders and they say BKR5EKUP for a 97. BKR5EKU for before 95? but some are saying BKR6E or BKR7E or BKR5EIX. which ones are going to be right? also is the gap supposed to be 0.8mm or 0.7mm as things say both? or is 0.7mm for pre 95 and 0.8 for after? cheers
  2. toyota pro gets you the 6000k 35w pro kit for 67 quid free delivery from hids4u hids4u are the best retro fit kits you can get
  3. ah right, just thought if you didnt know you might be waiting for something you can go pick up
  4. whats it got in now? 10w40 is the recommended oil and you can get it from TPS for about 9 quid for 5 litres
  5. ive had my fair share of cheap HID kits and they never lasted too long. The only ones ive had flawless results with is hids4u kits, with toyota pro as discount code the H1 35w pro kit (all you need, 35w is plenty bright enough and ultimate is only required for brand new cars with canbus networks) is £67 and free post too so only £7 more than ebay kits, they also offer awesome warranty, but ive never even needed it.
  6. that is so nice, seen pristine ones go for much more, 25k, wouldnt be surprised to see it end at that at all.
  7. depends on what you want aswell as the width of the wheel. 7 - 8J will fit 205/40/17 fine and will be like 20-30% cheaper than 215s as for brands just stay in the big bunch, ie michelin, goodyear, dunlop, continental, toyo, pirelli, bridgestone stay away from nankang, woosung etc ie ditchfinders
  8. i went from the oem BBS 15s to BBS RC 17s. I think they actually improved the ride, it seems to ride out bumps etc better, these wheels are lighter than the original 15s so theres no noticeable difference in speed or acceleration. if you stick on heavier wheels the added weight combined with the added rolling radius will make your car slower if you put on those lightweight wheels you mentioned they will be the same or less than the originals, prob in the region of 8 to 8.5kg a corner without tyres
  9. the internet lied to me? shock or my mate lied to me, ive never seen that ad before, i showed him and he was like yea they banned that for being racist to french, the overblown "political correctness" of this country gets my goat something rotten, so if he was winding me up i just got caught hook line and sinker lol
  10. the ad was banned for being racist
  11. suffering for your art!! sorry to hear that mate, i know what its like to have your leading hand out of action for weeks, it sucks bigtime. wishing a speedy recovery!
  12. as long as you dont mind the fumes coming in, choke!
  13. thye are on elongated holes for adjustment
  14. first check your brake fluid level located near the OS suspension turret
  15. T1R are very good, good levels of grip and they last a fair amount too. My wheels came with yoko parada spec2 which are also alright, better than any other yoko ive had, but when they are bald theyre getting replaced with T1R again. The PX4 are just below T1R in the range but are still good tyres. I was in the tyre fitters yesterday for the girlfriends car and the PX4 is definitely the better looking tyre, the tread pattern looks more sporty
  16. no doubt banned because while its ok for every other country in the world to be patriotic and think of their own interests first, we arent allowed to.
  17. You cant argue with what honda has done with smaller 4cyl engines though, shame euro 5 regs have killed the typeR program, at least for now and at least for the naturally aspirated high revving VTEC that if you are a real car person love to wring out to 5 figures. I know that all these new cars that are small displacement and big power that their engines are so highly strung sometimes to the point of compromise, but thats not all the manufacturers fault, the regs are strangling and constraining them, more concerned with climate propaganda than the minority of people who love the cars for what
  18. you going for the original finish again or getting them done like the mk4 annis?
  19. transverse is haldex longitudinal is torsen syncro was viscous coupling
  20. haha, long story short we were looking for the website that chloe mafia off x factor operates her salacious dealings from, found it, jesus shes rough, and going from the others on the site, fairly expensive!! lol the gf was telling me the papers list her as a hooker but i was like its the papers and look at her anyone would call her one, so we turned to the internet for proof lol give you the link to that aswell if you want, its good for a laugh, but dunno how the mods etc would feel about it. it didnt take us long to find it lastnight anyway if you did lol

  22. as an aside if you depressurize the system the level will rise, especially when hot, youre supposed to set and monitor the level with a cold engine
