  1. If you're after a manual see if you can get hold of the Bentley workshop manual for golf vr6. Best manual ever.
  2. Not necessarily, my old powerflow/scorpion stainless exhaust you could make it pop like hell, my new jetex stainless exhaust hardly pops at all. All that changed was the cat back exhaust.
  3. First thing would be to get 2 copper washers the size of the 2 oil pressure senders and fit them to them. That could solve your problem completely.

  5. I used Payen and got them from my local motor factors, they were labelled as for a ford galaxy 2.8 not a golf vr6.

  8. Either that or your ABS isn't working, the rears will lock up dead easy if the ABS isn't functioning.

  11. I had a fitment issue with my genuine one and it was due to the plastic cover I the bottom of the matrix that covered the curved pipes, I took it off and it fit like a glove.
  12. I undid the engine mounts and jacked the engine up too.

  14. If its an original mk2 cover then providing you modify the shape to suit around the new engine, why not?

  16. It won't be h4 as that's combined full and dip in one bulb, mine are h1 but I have hella twins so not sure if they use the same or different than the stock 2 chamber lights. They will be h1 or h7 they are the most popular.

  18. I looked in etka as I was sure mine were the same size, and etka says they are too, however, if yours are different and are the same size as the throttle body bolts, the TB bolts are M6.
