    I got one 3 years ago and it was about £125. I thought that was steep but 354 is insane, no way it costs them that much more to make. On the plus this means that my price updates must be correct lol

    I went for the full purple powerflex kit, I have oem new top mounts and AP coilovers which are known for keeping a nicer ride. I changed them as my originals were knackered. The change was immense, it didn't make the ride crashy much, in fact when going over bumps it feels like the car has a suppleness but tightness at the same time.

    Too thin really, 10w40 is usually the cheapest grade of oil too

    Quantum Synta semi syn 10w40 Mobil Super 2000 semi syn 10w40 Shell Helix HX7 full syn 10w40 Castrol Magnatec semi syn 10w40 Millers Trident semi syn 10w40 Used all of these at one time, trident used to be called XSS, they are all the same, I just buy the cheapest at the time. Use a genuine filter, the oil does seem to stay cleaner for longer with a gen filter.

    I had the same issue, as you can see this fixes it awesomely.

    Not sure how well the red will work in the headlight switch as the markers have green paint/dye on them, I tried on a dead switch to see if you can get it off and it just brings everything off so you have a clear smudge with no icon either.

    You can make one easy enough using hockey pucks or billet and a high tensile bolt

    I'm running 7.5J et38 (iirc) with 205 tyres and don't run any spacers

    Is it from the right side where the plastic shroud that the HT leads clip in?

    I used payen from a motor factor and it was exactly the same quality as the VW ones, I think they are an OEM supplier too
