    Take the cover off the inside handle, undo the screws and pop the perimeter off the. It should just lift straight off.

    Yea it even says inside the fuel flap, use 95/98 RON Unleaded, the ECU adjusts the timing according to RON.

    There actually was a TSB many years ago that involved cutting the centre out of the sunroof drain exit, if you look at it it looks like a plus sign, squeeze it to open it up and trim the parts that meet in the middle a tad to leave a bigger opening. Obviously it was a common issue that the end sealed itself up.

    Just did this job using the guide on here and found it very helpful as the one on here the pics of the bolts still have them fastened on, so you know what kind of bolt goes back where when you refit everything.

    It's fairly easy, front seats out, handbrake/gearstick/cubbyhole centre console out then take the dash reinforcing plate off with 4 bolts and the carpet should come right out.

    Take your wipers and scuttle off too and do the same test to see if its getting through any sealant or a pinhole has formed somewhere

    For the transition from the head to the thinner thread section taper have a straight lined cone shape to them and radius have a bowl shape to them.

    You want induction noise get a metal intake elbow and some silicone hose joiners, since I got rid of the concertina'd rubbers for smooth silicone the induction noise is mental!

    Yea games like that always get my goat as they ate setup so if you want the best cars you have to pay or play for an eternity.

    I just started this game last week and think its really good, more of a "real" racing game, ie not arcadey. It's not easy either, and you race real people from around the world, not just AI. One thing I don't like though is that the other cars take priority on their lines an will just barge you off and you are always the loser in the scuffle. Anyone else been playing this on iOS or Android? What do you think to it?

    What's your favourite mod that you have performed on your VR? It doesn't have to be a turbo the size o a crash helmet that makes ten trillion torques, it can be anything no matter how small. I have to say personally my favourite mod (2 actually) has to be the one(s) I see every day, my black headliner/visors/grab handles. Close second is my heater control panel/knobs lighting mod. What's yours?

    As far as I can they arent interchangeable. The VR6 p/n is 021 906 433C. The GTI part will prob be 037 906 433A.

    I'm 28 and this I'd the first VW I've ever owned, I've looked at Mk5 R32s seriously a few times before but the numbers just didnt justify themselves to me enough, head ruled heart, so got an A3 Sline TDI 170 instead, but sold it due to change in circumstance, drastically lowered mileage and needed to free up some money so decided I would get a petrol car due to now town only driving that was cheaper and paid for.     They did a golf years ago on WD mk1 GTI IIRC. Yea the blue one was dead, but the engine in the replacement loved it.
