  1. The alarm box should have a model no on it, I have a Clifford and it has all of the info on a sticker on the box so start searching around
  2. Haha just looked today at my receipts it was 2 and a half years ago though
  3. See if a TPS will serve you, mine was about £65 exchanged
  4. Sills, all of the holes with big bungs in them on the floor, the floor part of the section in the door frames where the seal sits. That's all I can think off the top of my head.
  5. They are an exchange part at VW so get a genuine one, it might work out cheaper than a ECP one.
  6. I actually read this yesterday in the Ross tech wiki, it's quite basic and rough though, its that you log the MAF reading in a redline pass in second gear, the g/s reading should be 0.8 of your engines horsepower, ie 175hp should be about 140g/s.
  7. It would be something you can have a go at and fix fairly easily if you wanted to, but if a complete beginner at welding it would be a good idea to get some sheet metal and practice practice practice till you aren't blowing holes in the metal and it doesn't look like a bird crapped on your weld lines.
  8. Smooth bumpers look good, is that a US spec boot or modded?
  9. Just had my brake fluid replaced and pedal feel and firmness is right back to the top again
  10. I got mine from opie too but went for MTL after my brother was locked out of his gears at -14'C.
  11. Baseball bat driven round the arch?
  12. With NGK 1 is hottest 12 is coolest. 5 is standard, 6 or 7 for forced.
  13. It's a bit of a gamble, I've bought expensive parts from US before and never been charged, but they have been labelled as a gift, I would say its even more of a gamble now though as customs are cracking down, mostly on knockoff stuff but they are in general too about big suspect packages that have a low specified value to avoid charges.

    Car S.O.S

Dunno where the thread went possibly a victim of the crash. Just watched the Anglia episode, that thing sounded like a brute, l so wanted them to tear it sideways round that car park lol
  15. Liking the polishing, the inlet is like chrome! When I eventually take the inlet off for whatever reason I plan to polish mine up just like that
  16. Samcos are pretty much the same price anywhere and they will 95% have to be made to order which will be about 3-6 weeks so the sooner you order the better. For clamps depends on what you want? Mikalor style? Worm screw style (Jubilee)? I just bought a job lot if normal zinc coated proper jubilee clips from ash Motorsport for a cheap price. Spark plugs get them from mister-solutions, you will need to know the code of plug you need, BKR5E are the normal heat rating. Try united motorsports for the metal crack pipe they sent me mine next day. Best to email or PM them through this forum to contac
  17. MY local VW dealer just had a refit over Christmas and I went down there for some bits earlier this week, its really nice in there now, much improved on the previous version.
  18. When I bought the car As of this morning
  19. Replaced the rubbers that came with the Bonrath intake for ASH silicone today as the rubber had finally given up an split. Took a fair bit of fettling into place so it didn't foul on the suspension tower, I've tested it too by revving the engine so it bucks around, no contact. The catch tank is doing its job well, after about 3 years there was no oil in the intake.
  20. Finished the job now everything is back together and everything works, so job done, I am NEVER doing that again! Oh and no spare screws left over
  21. Yea that cossie was nice, I have seen a black RS500 sierra only ever twice but it was the same one, I also spotted a focus RS500 once on the A59, probably the only time I ever would, if I could have taken a pic I would have. In fact I've seen a Ferrari 599 GTO more times than I've seen a focus RS500!
  22. Is there any way to add zoom to pics when you click on them and they open up in a shaded background? Used to use that quite s lot on the old style and I knew its due to auto pan and scan to phone size on the mobile site but I did like that feature
  23. Mine handled like a sack of sh!t even after powerflex until I had it 4 wheel aligned. Torque steer on acceleration was 80,s-tastic!
