  1. Bleeding mice eh, when I had my focus ST I had mice chew through the rubber crankcase breather return pipe on the front of the engine and it spat oil all over the bay, buggers!
  2. When I get out onto the open road I am partial to a bit of (legal of course) overtaking
  3. Also if you do investigate with the seats out there are some more bungs under the seats and in the front footwells, I would give them all a going over as they are a common place to do just these things.
  4. The carpet lifts from under the seats, it's easiest to just take the seats out, which is just a spring clip removed at the front end and the little plastic trims taken off the runners at the back then the seats will just slide off the rails and can be easily removed. If this is the issue when you look but the bungs are still relatively ok then what I did was take them off, tidy them up and filled the middle of them with copious amounts of tiger seal. Reinstall then smooth the sealant/added more as necessary to make a good seal on both the inside and under the car, I would put some underseal o
  5. Lift the rear carpet and examine the floor bungs, there is one each side in the rear footwells, they may be letting water in.
  6. Lukey.

    Coil packs

No. They are all individual and go in the head, the 12v is a 6in1 box that has leads coming off it to the spark plugs.
  7. Is it possible to add a quick login at the top right?
  8. By far the best bit is Flick, mushimushi, retract, smugface
  9. Think I read on vortex you can use a mk3 1.9TDI belt a 6 rib one. I seem to remember people getting belts of the right length in 7 rib and slicing a rib off them cos you couldn't use a 7.
  10. It came up on German ebay. They do R32 ones too.
  11. That could be causing all three problems IIRC. edit, if nothings changed and the car has just been standing, try simply plugging it on and off a few times and it might just miraculously work again.
  12. The latest P/N is 3A0 867 201 H and its a sheet that you modify to fit each door. It comes in 1100mmx600mm sheets, ebay for 15 quid
  13. Just a normal M8 bolt about 3inch long, wind it into the threaded hole on top of the tensioner and it will slacken the belt to get it off
  14. Had my door card off, driver door on a 3dr and the part no on the foam is 1H3 867 148 H
  15. Hi mate I quite like the smooth bumper while you've got easy access to the deep splitter could you measure it for me and tell me how deep it is from the bottom of the bumper. I've got a late model that came with a CL spec splitter and need to know the measurements to see if I'd destroy a deep one while lowered 75mm lol.
  16. Does its rate increase with the rpm? Could be a sticky lifter ?
  17. That's because they are the trade parts arm of VW though, so you have to find a vendor that is willing to sell to the public for the trade price, best to ring ahead. I have always read that if you get to 120k on the original chains with no bother, then even if they are still all fine, then change them. So you may be fine even for a while yet, this is what I am planning to do.
  18. Most Audi standard fitment wheels are 8j and anything after about 2004ish will have a 5x112 PCD, you need 5x100 for the mk3.
  19. I thought it was david guetta. Didn't realise the singer out of rammstein now narrates German car programs.
  20. I run 7.5j 17s with no arch mods about 75mm down on coilovers and no rubbing.
  21. Got a rear fogs only headlight switch as I removed my front fogs, while I was at it I modded the lighting to match the rest of the dash now, with lime green neon light wire and super white switch illumination. There's not much room inside the case to play with and packaging it all took some time but I'm happy with the end result, even illumination of all icons instead of bright and dark spots. From this To this To match this Also found a mint condition 5dr GL with electric everything and had the electric window regulators out of it for a song, good to have spares, I wanted to take the seats
  22. Just to delete AC you can use a standard non AC one sided belt, don't know about removing PAS pump aswell though, it's damn heavy to steer non assisted.
  23. If you wan better turn in a thicker rear ARB and poly rear axle bushes will make it a lot keener
