If its the seal with flat sides that sits in the groove in the cap it's a standard oil cooler seal available from VW PN 038 117 070. If the other side of the cooler (engine side) uses a rounded seal with 2 tabs with holes in opposite each other this is also a standard seal PN 038 117 070 A.
There is, it's essentially polythene and sicko-flex type adhesive in a lot of cars but the mk3 has a foam style sheet, don't know a specific part no though
After hours of googling it seems that recaro bases are big bolster versions and even if I could swap them over my recaro base cushion wouldn't fit and would sag.
I've seen some seats in a 5dr that have the additional seat base tilting aswell as height adjustment, I want to know if I can take the 5dr seat, remove the cushions and back etc then put my 3dr back and cushions on it and everything still work? Cheers
I got mine from united motorsports try email and PMing him, he seems to be very busy but while he may take a day to respond I received it the next day.
A 5cyl in any car would be better for me, be it Audi or Volvo I don't care, i love 5cyl engines. It probably drives smooth as you like in the 6n chassis in pootling mode, but do think that if at full chat it's gonna behave like an Alfa 147 GTA.
You can get some springs for an Altea that will slot on holes (with a tiny amount of adjustment and persuasion of the spring) that are already there on the calliper and handbrake arm. Mine were sticking on slightly and I would have to flick them down with my finger from underneath, these have sorted it right out for about a fiver.
The front sunroof drains are in the front door shut about in the middle and look like a bit if rubber tube with a cross sliced into the bottom. The rear drains are behind the rear bumper and are near the big white air pressure flaps. To check them right to the sunroof you will obviously have to drop the headliner, which isn't as big of a job as it sounds, while checking the drains there was actually a recall many years ago referring to the openings on them and it was to make the openings bigger so they can't get so easily blocked by spreading the hole open and just cutting the inner corners of
Nice looking in black, never seen a black 4mo I think and nice job you've done in achieving a deep reflective finish. Never seen a mk4 with Audi Sline wheels either they work well.
They do warm up quickly but not 2 mins, check the oil running temp on the MFA too, this should prob get to about 80 - 94 in this colder weather, the higher in town and the lower if on A roads, as a rough guide.
