  1. Suppose the problem however it got started would have exacerbated itself, the more it ground off the more particles in the oil the more it could grind away.
  2. Halfbrick are the developers that make fruit ninja among other paid apps for iPhone, all of their games are free for 24 hours only, to see their full offering type halfbrick into the search tab in the AppStore.
  3. So is it garaged all the time? If I had a garage I wouldn't have to be a slave to the weather. Glazes have mostly fillers to fill swirlmarks in the paint, if you tried to poIish out swirls with black hole you'd be there all week lol. I think it taking the layers above off with it is because of the fillers, the wax/sealant bonds to that and when the black hole comes off it takes them too.
  4. It isn't a polish it's a glaze, and I mean the layers of wax that come after black hole is applied, which are in top of it.
  5. Haven't got a diagram but I can't tell you there is a bush on the inside of the arch and one on the inside of the car then a plate in the top inside the car and the bolt on top.
  6. Lovely looking results there I'd be interested what you think of black hole in terms of longevity, cos every time I've applied it the finish is another level of awesome but it seemed to not last 5 mins and take all above layers of sealant and wax with it, I've got 3/4 of a bottle left, haven't used it again since. If you like the poorboys shampoo and haven't tried it yet, when you finish it try dodo juice born to be mild it's the best shampoo I've used.
  7. Anywhere that sells them really they seem to set the price. I would expect the powerflex to outlast the OEM bushes by a long long time.
  8. -3 and a reading of 6mpg driving round town, I'd much rather it was 25 degrees with windows/roof open lol
  9. What you can do to be totally sure it's that sensor is to swap the plugs round and scan again to see if it now says the left sensor is the problem.
  10. Just don't calculate your mpg in the cold weather lol
  11. lol I got sick and tired of pics of stupid faces, or a corner of a room, or a lamp, or a basket etc etc so I turned off and code restricted the camera on the iPad.
  12. I get less vibration and rattles with the powerflex. The car also turns more directly, its only something you would notice after you changed them though, the OEM bushes have movement in them on purpose to serve as slight passive rear steer, but in hindsight it also made the car have a tendency to have a bit of a rubber band feeling like it needed a second to take out the slack. The powerflex have no "slack" or give in them and I prefer this much more. I liken the steering feel to having a bigger rear anti roll bar fitted, it corners sharper and at higher speeds.
  13. Pieceapiss, remove the headlight switch, remove the same trim on the opposite side, remove the 2 revealed screws, remove steering column surround, put steering wheel all the way down, take out the black dials surround. You now have access to the clocks unit.
  14. what do you want to know about the rear beam?
  15. Now that's what I call Christmas, it hasn't changed in about thirty years so doesn't have to be a brand new compilation lol
  16. The simplest way to determine is to get a long piece of wire, clip it to the negative battery terminal and at the lights connect the other end of this wire to the earth wire and see if the problem goes away, if it does then you know where to begin from making a better earth connection. A safer way is to connect the terminal end of the wire to an unpainted piece of chassis metal, but this relies on the main earth to the battery being solid.
  17. Sounds like you may have an earth problem rather than the lights all being related. You need a continuity tester to check that the earths are not dodgy.
  18. Under the expansion tank, but I think on OBD1 the unit and the ECU are separate and the ECU is under the rear seat. I don't know for sure though as I have OBD2. It will tell you which wheel has the issue.
  19. If you can get a membership costco sell the Bosch batteries for trade price, I got a big 74Ah 007 for mine for about £60.
