  1. In Etka some of the mk4 ones look similar.
  2. I don't know really, while yea a Quattro 5cyl would make it faster, but I'm not sure it would suit the character of the car.
  3. You may be able to get one from a newer car and adapt to fit, you only need to make sure its coming off a car with a hydraulic clutch.
  4. This is a common thing I don't know why testers keep doing this with the mk3
  5. Funnily enough after days and days my gfs has magically changed to EE now too
  6. If you turn off 3G in your phone settings you get terrible quality but much better battery life you know
  7. Oh right, thought that was just calls over a 3G network, which we already have ?
  8. Lol he does it when he's mad and starts growling, its pretty random but I'll see if I can
  9. The 4G will be extremely limited to only 12 major city centres as I gather, I think at this point even if I had a 4G phone I would stay on my original 3G contract. The early adopters of any new technology are always the ones picking up the brunt of the tab with big premium charges.
  10. 357 877 209 A is the sunroof seal part no, its pretty expensive though. I have read that its near impossible to fit the seal well to make a seal, and every person I've read has ended up taking the glass out and getting their stealer to fit it with their tool for a minimal charge, instead of the massive "they do it all for you" charge.
  11. haha I'd make a £500 bet with someone that they couldn't cut themselves with gold leaf.
  12. Mine just changed one day and then a couple of days ago I got the text saying that while I'm still on T-mobile and nothing about my plan will change I will now be using the EE network
  13. The pressure would probably rise a bit if you bypassed the matrix as f its steaming its got a leak and would be venting some pressure.
  14. Take a good look in the port and if theres any irregularities give it a bit of a rub with wet and dry, obviously taking care not to get bits stuck anywhere, then if its increased the size of the hole build it back up with some JB weld. You can get some grey high temp & coolant resistant silicone from halfords for not an extortionate price, bead it round the o-rings and install, the silicone will also help with getting the o-ring seated as it can be a right pain to get it in the pump end. Leave overnight to cure and then enjoy your leak free crack pipe for the forseeable future.
  15. Found this Smirnoff in an airport duty free, real edible gold!!!!!11111 I personally think this is naff as fook. And at €67 totally ridiculous.
  16. My network name on my phone has changed, I know that EE have taken over t-mobile and orange but no one else i know on these networks has had their carrier name changed on the signal bars. Anyone here?
  17. you can get screw-on to banjo adapters from goodridge i think
  18. For the early teves-4 abs you still need the bias valve, the later teves-20 don't.
  19. The wishbone originals can be a bit of a pain to get out, you have to just destroy them to remove them and they have metal centres, drilling works best. The new front ones would just push in and the rears you just grease them up and stamp on them, transforms the car. This is for poly bushes i might add, OEM bushes are just as much a nightmare to fit as to remove unless you have a press. The ebay ones are cheap, as a comparison my full car kit of polyflex were £180 so nearly twice the price.
  20. Never had one myself but all the people I know that did said they weren't up to standard quality wise, but this was years ago for like XR3i's and the like
  21. I had loads of good sets when I were a boy, I think they are all still in my mothers loft cos I didn't chuck any of them, I had a lot of the old model team sets and the big accurate looking technics sets with working engines like the hard top convertible sports car and the F1 car
  22. If you've got it all out anyway wishbone bushes would be good to refresh/upgrade
  23. Wow, if he isn't making the production lines on how it's made then he should be
  24. think emissions regs are on the engine and the VED is counted on the chassis, but with it being a pre 2001 it would be in the same tax classification anyway. But the car coming out of the factory with a cat then having a pre cat engine conversion is a good point and seems to be a massive grey area that there is no definitive answer to
