  1. mine seems to have the jedi mind trick ability to make people let me out at junctions
  2. All that is doing is spinning because of the throttle sucking air through it, you can see by the pitch of the blades that's what's happening lol
  3. You could always laminx the orange lenses, I have those side repeaters too with led flashers in they look good
  4. Just use the bundles of drug money, problem solved lol
  5. I'm not disagreeing with you, just saying you cant fit an external rad without a working oil cooler in the first place
  6. You don't have to remove the rear beam I did mine on axle stands, blocks and a jack
  7. If its newer and doesn't have the rear biasing valve be a bit wary in the wet, thoe rears like to lock in the wet lol
  8. If they are buggered you might as well, the Powerflex are easy to fit, you'll have a mare getting the OEM ones out but the Powerflex ones will just pop straight in for the most part. So if you are going to replace the suspension do the bushes at the same time then you can have it aligned up only the once. And it sounds like you could benefit from some new top mounts and bearings too. But they aren't too expensive. Welcome to VR6 ownership lol
  9. You don't need to use expensive plugs, the VR6 engine will make short work of them no matter what you put in. Looking at ebay you'll pay about 60 quid which if you follow the schedule you'll leave in for 40k, if you just put normal plugs of the same temperature in you can get a set for about 14 quid. Leave them in for 20k and replace at 20 and you're still 30 quid up and have changed them twice. Like I said this is a good idea as the VR6 engine mucks up spark plugs pretty good.
  10. Quite expensive and only does the front end not including ARB, there are big rear beam bushes too
  11. [steptoe and son voice] You dirty' date=' dirty man [/steptoe and son voice']
  12. Never seen a Corrado on comps they really suit the car
  13. Cheers I've been p!ssin about with the hoses and managed to manipulate them so that they don't touch now, I'll keep my eye on it and see if it stays like that
  14. In the Bentley manual it actually recommends the use of black oil resistant sealant each side of each gasket for the cooler, probably to resolve the hardening problem, if not for good at least for a lot longer
  15. The reason it says that is so it is properly circulated and doesn't just sit in the header tank
  16. you wont buy a genuine one online I've just replaced mine and you just cant find one. They are fair expensive too, about £110. you can buy the seals individually and if the cooler isn't leaking in the oil/coolant passages then new seals will do the job
  17. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/4054554.htm Yea its a nice car and there's been a fair bit done to it, but its either gonna be up for a long time or he's gonna take a vastly reduced price in the end. He's having a joke at the moment
  18. Compared to the oem hose it's identical, but the samco is nearly twice as thick, but you'd think they accounted for that
  19. Yea I know mate and all suggestions are welcome, I'm gonna see if I can think of anything else. I thought about silicone grease because that stuff is super slippery, but then you've got the problem of dust and dirt creating a nice rubbing compound. Ideally id obviously like there to be a gap there, I may slack off all the nearby clips and see if I can manipulate the hoses to create one.
  20. Ive heard good things about steel seal, as far as these kind of treatments go.
  21. get parallels its brilliant, use the windows and license off your netbook and you can run windows applications as if they were native mac. Didn't know we were counting devices too, I'll just add Macbook Pro mid 2011 iPhone 4 iPad2 wifi 16GB iPod Touch 8GB iPod 30GB old wheel HDD version which has all my car music on PS3 Slim 320GB
  22. With these constant niggles and with the crappy weather not being able to give the VR a clean for quite a while I was starting to lose the love, but as the cycle always goes, all the niggles (for now) are sorted and she's nice and clean again and I can feel the love coming back
