  1. They still need the 312mm discs though, boxster S fronts or turbo rears IIRC
  2. I hear the final drive is lower so is like getting the G60 final drive aswell
  3. Yea my mother just got an Audi TT and all the interior lights are pure white SMD LEDs that's what gave me the thought to do mine cos it really makes a difference. I got them from ultraleds.co.uk and just matched the measurements to the bulbs on there
  4. Doesn't mean they didn't do something dodgy, I've seen several cars for sale with recent (backhanded in my view) mots that had damage that had to have been there too long for it to have happened afterwards.
  5. Lol I just realised I said that in your other gearbox thread and you'd made this like a few days ago, apologies for this being of no help whatsoever
  6. Cheers yea the white LEDs are so much better that incandescent bulba
  7. You should modify the V5........ So it says my name :yoink: :-D
  8. The knocking with gearstick movent I'd say is excessive engine mount play
  9. You want really slick and smooth fit a mk4 V5 box
  10. Found some bumper undertrays on a scrapper so I've fitted them as mine never had any, with stainless fittings as the clips and screws that held them on were a right corroded mess to get off! I had a Mk3 diesel engine under tray too but I misjudged the cuts I had to make to modify it to fit and rendered it useless!
  11. Oh right the carrier bolts, no you don't need to remove them to change pads but you do to change discs
  12. Dunno if loctite is the best idea though, what if it welds itself in when you need to change pads?
  13. Just a little detail, I relocated the alarm/immob LED to the windscreen demister strip for it to be more visible, also most cars now put them here so it has a more modern feel to it too.
  14. Just got round to trying to fit my door pin LEDs today, id made the 2 door pin surrounds with LEDs in a while ago and put them to one side and tbh forgot id made them till you posted this up! And dammit the alarm feed to the original LED will only run 1 LED. I wired up the 2 side ones and all of them died, took the additional 2 off the wire and the original started working again, so that was that plan scrapped, tut. Good job I tested first before tearing down both doors to wire them up! I've relocated the original one to the windscreen demister strip instead, much more visible from outside the
  15. As a response to the solution to this problem - wtf?! lol
  16. If your MFA outside temp is working correctly it won't be to do with that sensor thoguh
  17. Could just be faulty, or incorrect, did you check the specification of the replacement? 4 cylinder mk3 golf senders would fit the same but their trigger point would be lower
  18. that's the high pressure switch so sounds like its throwing the light at too low of a pressure
  19. Yea I've just read through my other linked post and will just confirm with you that you do need 2 of everything except you need 4 subframe and 6 ball joint / wishbone outer bolts
  20. Get to maplin for like a tenner then you've got one of the most useful tools in a whole kit
  21. Cool hows the end result gonna be configured?
  22. The first car, not the second lol gqpe2-goczw
