  3. Okay thanks. I just bought a pair of black headlight from a GTI "20 Jahre" I think they will look nice on my standard VR6.
  4. My Golf 3 VR6 (from 1997) is born without front fog lights. I have bought a set of fog lights, original wires from VW + relay. But I can't find anywhere in the engine compartment to connect the + wire. I have tried to pull out the switch in the dashboard and the wires for the front fog lights are connectet to the switch. Is it possible that have do drag a wire all the way from the relay? I thought that the wiring would be prepared for fog lights?
  5. Does anybody know if VW recommends to change the oil and how often on the syncro rear differential? If you have any other advice regarding the syncro system please share.
  6. I have decided to keep my Syncro and I need a set of new sommer wheels. The cars exterior will remain standard but it will mount a KW coilover kit and red brake calipers. First I was pretty sure that I would go for a set of Ultraleggera but now I'm doubt whether I should choose Superturismo instead. What would You choose? MY CAR: SUPERTURISMO: ULTRALEGGERA:
  7. Thanks for the replies. I don't want to do anything to the arches I will follow my original plan and buy some OZ wheels.
  8. I have received a very good offer for a set of brand new 8,5*17" ET20 BBS Le Mans wheels. Do you think they can fit a MK3 VR6?
  9. I got a couple of rust spots repaired this weekend, luckily this was the only rust the car had. I also mounted the wiring for the rear speakers. The only thing I need now before the car is ready for the road are new front and rear brakes. The front inner brake pads where so worn down that it was breaking "metal to metal".
  10. Supersprint does: http://www.supersprint.com/USP000vwgol31.asp
  11. I was actually driving with a Rotrex Supercharger on my former VR6. I bought the kit from CCR-racing in Denmark. I like Rotrex because it produces better torque at low RPM compared to Vortech. The only issues I had with the kit was: 1. The engine will need its own oil cooler. The engine oil temperature rose to 120 degres, when driving only 90 mph on motorway in the summer period. 2. The original tensioner wheel needs a new location, but it leaves very little room for the wheel. The sides of the whell melted as it almost touched the mounting bracket for the supercharger. 3. The additionel tens
  12. I am consindering af VF Stage 2 supercharger kit for my VR6 syncro. I am also consindering turbo but I am a little worried about the durability of the syncro driveline. Do you know if there is a dealer of VF Superchargerkits in the UK? I wrote a mail to Stealth but they don't answer.
  13. The side skirts on Golf 3 is a very good dirt collector, so today I dismounted the side skirts because I wanted to control the panels for rust. Luckily the panels are nearly good as new. I have cleaned the panels for loose rust and dirt and gave them some zink spray and body spray.
  14. Hi dub 25 Very nice looking syncro. I am searching for the syncro logo for the rear for my syncro How is the car driving with the VF supercharger? Who has made the remap and how much power does the engine have?
  15. The weight is approx. 275 lbs higher than a normal VR6.
