    Ah okay fair enough. I'm finding that I do need to refill the radiator every so often...I couldn't really give a rough time frame from fill to fill as it really varies...but I didn't think it would need filling since having a new radiator and pipes etc fitted.

    Just a curious question regarding topping up the radiator. Back in May/June 2009 my VR6 had a lot of work done to it and some of the work done was a new radiator fitted, a new bypass pipe and several other pipes around the cooling system refitted, plus o rings and clamps etc. My question is how often should I be looking at refilling the fluids, and do different fluids e.g. using water or using proper coolant, make a difference as to how often you need to refill the radiator?
